Extra-cold weather could now be the tipping point against sell-outs, as most people have big screen TVs or friends with big TVs, or a neighborhood bar or restaurant where they can gather and watch games in climate-comfort surroundings.

The advent of large screen HD has certainly made the home viewing experience quite awesome.

Yep. And I can turn the sound down and not be annoyed by stupid announcers and lame stadium music.

HD TV and bitter cold temperatures make a January playoff ticket in Green Bay a tough sell.

“How did they do?”
Dunno — cubicle bound. Belling was all over it at 3 pm, accusing callers of being too wimpy to go the game.

Glad you told him! Saves me the trouble. Lambeau is a wonderful experience, and you can always duck into the covered interior if it gets too cold.

I am pretty sure the NFL extended the deadline 24HRS. Colts have not sold out their game either.

Amateurs. I just saw on my AccuWeather that our predicted high on Sunday is -20 here in Northern Minnesota. Amateurs that play outside, and fans that sit and watch outside, not in a dome. Of course, the Viqueens are enjoying this year's playoffs from the comfort of their living rooms, aren't they?

Maybe I’m not the only one who is getting really bored with the No Fun League.

The NFL has granted the Packers another day to sell their tickets to avoid the blackout.

You can survive that cold with a union suit, several layers of clothing, a SkiDoo suit and boots, but who would want to?
