The front finally passed through and blew all the rain out, clear and in the 40's today.
Sounds like a mess where you guys are.
The way the pattern is setting up this year, I kind of expect to get some snow down here (once every 5 or 10 year thing) before the winter is over.
Will be interesting if the pattern holds up.

I don’t know for sure, except that it may have something to do with the fuel cut off solenoid, whatever that is. It’s 11 years old, and we just put in $3,000. worth of repairs to it last summer. It won’t turn over when Mr. T tries to start it. He did replace a fuse, but no luck.

Temps in the 40’s sound very nice to me. This does seem to be looking like a very cold winter, though.

I assume we’re talking about a diesel engine?
Often when a diesel won’t turn, its the compression release that is not opening, which is operated by a solenoid, and they can be removed and checked with a $10 Radioshack multimeter.

Thank you! I hope that we can do what needs to be done now.
Thank you again, and Merry Christmas!

Its a bit warmer today. In the upper 30s.
It looks like you have a storm coming your way.

Yes, we do. Fortunately, we also have contracted a person who will be plowing our driveway whenever we have a storm with three inches or more snow. Mr. T may decide that he likes this a little too much..:)

If the price is right it may be cheaper than having a lot of the equipment yourselves.

It might be worthwhile in winter. For the rest of the year, not so much.
