Live with it.
3 national titles for the Tide in the five years, one for Auburn, with three of the four loses to Alabama being old-fashioned ass-kickings that will live for the ages. With Saban in charge, more ass-kickings are assured. Live with it.
Eight of the last twelve games and 19 of the last 31. The most dominant team in this rivalry over the last thirty years has been Auburn.
I never said a thing about the last 30 years. Alabama was not a very good team before Saban’s arrival. They had been down for years. With him in charge they have owned the SEC, and with that Auburn. Case in point is his first year, when Auburn won their 6th straight game against Alabama. Starting in 2008, the record is now 4-2 for Alabama, winning 3 national titles. If he goes to Texas look for Auburn to start beating Alabama on a regular basis again. And by the way Alabama has a winning all-time record against Auburn.
42351.
I dont mean to sound stupid but I thought if a team attempts a field goal and misses it the other team gets the ball from where it was attempted. How did Auburn grab a missed field goal and run with it? I am 64 years old and never see this happen before in my life and Ive watched thousands of games.

It sure doesn’t happen very often.
Here’s the Ravens Chris McAlister doing it against the Broncos a few years ago.
It’s a live ball until it goes out of the field of play.
But I did, and that's the post to which you responded.
Thanks for playing.
34-28.
Exactly.
There was a thread last week that you might have seen wherein some freepers were suggesting that it can’t be a TD (or shouldnt be) if only the ball breaks the plane. That it should only be TD if the runner gets some part of his body into the end zone.
Just a fundamental misunderstanding of your very clear statement (oh and the rules of the game) - Its a live ball until it goes out of the field of play.
My memory isn't what it used to be, either. What's this all about? ;-) We're good.
Nice game yesterday. So much for undefeated OSU. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch. Almost losing to unranked Michigan and then losing by 10 to #10 Michigan State. Ha ha ha ha
