The greatest retaliation will be when the Senate votes to repeal Obmacare and they win it with 51 votes in 2014.

Maybe it’s time for the R’s to fold. Just say “OK, screw you guys, we’re going home”...and go. No quorum, no Congress. Call it s lock-out, strike, or Cartman throwing a tantrum, I think it would work like nothing else would to draw attention to what kind of crap Reid pulled. Blow it up, make it a big enough deal that even the MSM would have to pay attention.

Congress should never fund anything, never permit a law to progress and impeach the occupier.

4. Basically start defunding the Senate.

Fund the Judiciary on the basis of judges serving only as of 11/14/2013. Obama can appoint to the DC Circuit all he wants, but no one he appoints will get paid, or have budgeting for a staff, or have office space, or have ... you name it.

And if he really wants hard ball, limit funding only to those on the Judiciary who were appointed by Republicans -- including those serving on the Supreme Court right now!

FReegards!

How about the House defunding (or no more funds) for the DC Circuit Court?

I think that is a wonderful idea and should have been done Friday, but I forget, Boehner does not work on Friday.
My worst fear is they will do NOTHING, or worse yet, try to offer Reid something! Don’t offer Reid anything, make him feel the pain till he capitulates.....withholding money is a great way to bring on the pain!

"Too bad we don’t have any actual leadership in the House."

Therein lies the greatest frustration for all of us, I think. The Democrats just stuck a burning stick in our eye, and our guys will apologize for angering the them. I don't think posts like this would exist if we thought we had anyone in Washington that would stand up to the Dems. How long before McCain, Ayotte, Graham, Cornyn, Hatch, Heller, Alexander, et al. are on the morning talk shows blaming this on the Tea Party?

Why punish themselves, that should be what the House votes to do to the senate. Doesn’t the house control the purse strings for all of the government?

Well, it appears that our congressmen have been compromised.
Threatened.

I think we’re in the jungle, now.

Withhold pay from any judge or other appointee by the senate Dem’s new majority. No benefits. No recognition of any act...

Senators may put a “hold” on any nominee. Simply put a hold on all of them.

Can’t. Unconstitutional.

Can’t. Even if all Republicans left, the Senate still has a quorum as a quorum is 51.

The GOP Senators leaving, this isn’t a state senate, Reid and Obama and the President Pro Tempore will have the FBI drag them back.

Can’t really parse what you are saying. Seems your premise conflicts with your conclusion.

Takes a super majority to override a presidential veto — and that’s not a Senate Rule, that’s a constitutional clause.

Boehner could whine, beg and plead, if that doesn’t work, he could try groveling.

As much as I wish it were not so, I don’t think our current crop of ‘Pubacans are up to the contest.

On a positive note, Idaho’s Senator Russ Fulcher, a Republican, announced today that he will challenge Idaho’s Gubnor Butch Otter, ostensibly also a Republican, in next year’s primary.

He, Fulcher, has my support.

Now if someone will run against Att’y Gen Wasden and Sup’t of Schools Luna.
