FULL TITLE: 'I could be fired because I'm transgender': Female theology professor risks job at Christian college and marriage after revealing male identity
A theology professor at a Christian college is set to be replaced in his role after coming out as transgender.
For 15 years Heath Adam Ackley taught at Azusa Pacific University in California under the name Dr Heather Ann Clements, but recently he broke the news to students - and his husband - that he had been hiding his gender identity.
The 47-year-old told Religion News Service that the institution agreed to pay him for the rest of the academic year, however, because his revelation could present a 'distraction', it's preferred that other professors take over his classes.

'I did not get a sense directly from the individuals with whom I was speaking that they had a theological problem with transgender identity,' Mr Ackley said.

The concept of being transgender is utter nonsense. Might as well claim to be a unicorn. A person is what he or she was born as (yes, I know there are some birth defects that can confuse the issue, but that is not what people are calling transgender).
Homosexuality and “transgender” is a denial of God as the Creator.

But she’s been writing about women studies, and women in religion??? And she thinks she is a man. How could she possibly write about women??? Will she pull her books from the bookstores?
Was it a he or a she at birth? Is it becoming a male or what? I’m confused.
It may be nonsense to you and me, but this is Holy Grail stuff to liberals. We have to be liberal regarding trans-whatever peoples who teach at hateful intolerant Christian universities. (Sarcasm)
