Mystery of Earth's radiation belts solved
Nature News ^ | 25 July 2013 | Ron Cowen

Van Allen belts accelerate their own particles rather than just trapping them.

The two concentric rings of high-speed particles that encircle the Earth are finally giving up the secrets of their origin — 55 years after their discovery. Two NASA probes have found evidence that the Van Allen belts, as the rings are known, are responsible for accelerating the particles, rather than collecting energetic particles that originated elsewhere. Space scientists think that their latest findings1 could also account for the even more energetic belts circling Saturn and Jupiter, as well as high-energy radiation associated with worlds beyond the Solar System and even some Sun-like stars.

For several years after 1958 — when space scientist James Van Allen and his colleagues identified the radiation belts that now bear his name, using instruments aboard the first US space mission — researchers theorized that the rings’ electrons came from distant reaches of Earth’s magnetosphere, the bubble of space dominated by the planet’s magnetic field. They proposed that as the particles drifted closer to Earth and encountered stronger magnetic fields, they would accelerate and settle into a ring-like configuration.

But this type of acceleration process would take days to weeks and best describes radiation belts that vary only gradually over time. In the 1990s, satellites began to reveal that the energy and density of the Van Allen belts changed more quickly. As a result, a competing theory for the origin of the belts' electrons began to take hold: that charged particles do not come from afar, but are produced locally, when electric fields within the belts rip electrons off from wandering atoms and accelerate those electrons to nearly the speed of light. This process could alter the density and energy of the belts on scales of seconds to hours, a theory that matched better...

The earth itself is in a warp bubble and we can just take the planet anywhere we want in the universe if we can figure out the owners manual.

I must add that this is a big part of the “New age movement”, which is really just Buddhism for westerners.

I first idea that we are all connected by this “energy field” and the second that we are all gods.

My dad did not leave me much. However, he did have the propensity for being around or working with people and projects which later gained some fame. This gave me occasional opportunity to name drop, even if a bit vicariously. :-)

During WWII, he worked at John’s Hopkins Applied Physics Lab on the Proximity Fuse project. While there, he met & married my mom. I showed up two years after the war ended.

My mom used to talk about my dad bringing home his co-workers to have dinner with them. Among these were James Van Allen and Dr. J. Allen Hynek, who later headed Project Blue Book for the Air Force.

Project Blue Book was, of course, the Air Force official look into UFO’s.

Dr. James Van Allen is, of course, much better known.

You might have. That line was from near the start of the 1961 movie, ‘Voyage To The Bottom Of the Sea’, (starring Frankie Avalon, Barbara Eden, Peter Lorre and Walter Pidgeon). The brand new nuclear powered ‘research’, (heh-heh, loaded with nuke missiles, some ‘research’ sub), submarine Seaview has just surfaced after 3 days below the Arctic Ice, out of all contact with the outside world, to discover that the sky is ‘on fire’. When radio contact is made to Wa. DC, Admiral Nelson asks “What’s that fire in the sky”. He is then told it that the Van Allen belt had exploded.

Once global warming dies out, the looney left can start fretting about the destruction of the Van Allen belts by fracking.

Not too difficult to imagine they would claim that fracking disrupts the earth’s magnetic field. The Van Allen radiation belts are dependent upon a magnetic field that is powerful enough to sustain it. Once the Van Allen belts are weakened, the solar wind will blow away the atmosphere and it will be like living on Mars.

Exactly. And it’s pretty obvious that injecting a sand and water mixture into shale formations would destroy the Van Allen belts.

So we are clear.

My post #8 began with “I must add”, Add to what ? My post # 7.

Torus energy Etc...

Which is and extrapolation on Van Allen made by Thrive and others;

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=212402

http://www.crystalinks.com/vanallenbelt.html

http://www.thrivemovement.com/the_code-fundamental_pattern

These groups, in turn take this and suggest virtually every living thing has or generates their own “torus” or energy and some call it “aura”.

This concept is used to promote “spirituality”, which groups all religion as the same, and seeks to advance “peace, love and understanding”, which may sound great, but puts the “created” above the Creator.

As a result, the natural extension of this thought process, we get people that bow to “Mother Nature” and ultimately find God in themselves. This is straight out of Buddhism.

Sadly, there are millions of people that have been conditioned to group ALL religions as equal without any critical thought. These groups, exploit this tendency and in order to keep them from exploring the truth, they introduce any number of “conspiracies”.

New Age is nothing new.

snip

A weekly journal of Christian liberalism and socialism titled The New Age was published as early as 1894;[13] it was sold to a group of socialist writers headed by Alfred Richard Orage and Holbrook Jackson in 1907. Contributors included H. G. Wells, George Bernard Shaw, and William Butler Yeats;

snip

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Age

This movement was and is all about the destruction of GOD.

Fast forward as evolutionary theory envisioned by Darwin loses its credibility, they have introduced ET. Literally, saying that we are here as the result of “Ancient Aliens”.

None of this of course is provable, so they use the seemingly unlimited possibilities and the mystery of “Quantum Physics” to support their positions. In order to maintain the movement however, they NEED to invoke “Conspiracy”.

The conspiracies run the gamut, from Government, big business, big oil, one world, 911 truthers, free energy, crop circles and alien encounters to name a few.

The two critical components of their efforts are “relativism” and “uncertainty”.

Take some time and examine both the New Age and Humanist movements.

In my observation, the “New Age” tends to want to avoid the history of the “Humanists” since the humanist manifesto has been published and is therefore exposed to examination.

The humanist cause is very well documented and has it roots in Darwinism, Eugenics and John Dewey, the father of our educational system.

The New age “spiritualist’s” would rather not be defined so they operate in the metaphysical realm.

I’m surprised you don’t know this.
