The White House press briefing is almost 15-20 minutes behind schedule... What's up? Is Jay Carney renegotiating his pay for having to do this stuff (without bursting into laughter?
It will be great if the first question asked is “Why did the white house feel the need to hold an off the record briefing to the “select” members of the press before telling the American People the truth?”
And make sure they all have the same lies and timelines sync’ed

We will see him with thick black-rimmed glasses soon and somewhere in his long diatribe he will tell us "it doesn't really matter".

It does seem highly unusual, but I seem to recall this happening before, but in regards to active military actions or something reasonable people could see deserved secrecy. Not something like this cover-up on Benghazi though.
