Coming Soon: A Cure For Gray Hair?
Popular Science ^ | 05/03/2013 | Francie Diep

Researchers are working on a true anti-graying cream that could make people produce their own youthful colors again. So far, it's worked in just a few people who have lost pigment in their hair and skin not from age, but from a condition called vitiligo. Because the cause of vitiligo pigment loss is the same as one possible cause of graying in old age, however, the prototype cream might be a step toward a real anti-graying cream. (But what would we do without those Just For Men commercials?)

of them.

I’d love to have more gray hair but most of mine has deserted me down the drain.

My hair’s Silver, and I’m darned proud of each and every one of them. My handlebar mustache is finally going Silver, too.

Looking at my family tree I imagine I'll go gray somewhat early (my dad started going gray in his late 20s), which doesn't really bother me. As long as I've got hair I don't care what color it turns!

I’m only 27 and I already have more silver than I want. Where do I sign up for human trials?

I’m 56 and have passed the gray stage and am well on my way to white hair. I think I might look a little odd if my hair were brown again. The white complements the few wrinkles I have!

The picture of President Reagan for the Freepathon promotion in this thread is perfect. He always had very little gray hair.

Ronald Reagan was magnificent in his appearance and image.

But we know what you mean. It all depends on how it’s done, all a matter of taste.

He is not artifically greying, that is his real color that he dyes for elections and other events.
