Huffington Post: “We Made a Decision Not to Cover the Gosnell Trial”

The cat is finally out of the bag. A blogger for the liberal Huffington Post has finally admitted that liberal mainstream media outlets made a conscious decision to ignore the Kermit Gosnell abortion-murder trial.

In a HuffPost Live segment today on the issue, host Marc Lamont Hill admitted what many pro-life advocates have been thinking:

“For what it’s worth, I do think that those of us on the left have made a decision not to cover this trial because we worry that it’ll compromise abortion rights. Whether you agree with abortion or not, I do think there’s a direct connection between the media’s failure to cover this and our own political commitments on the left. I think it’s a bad idea, I think it’s dangerous, but I think that’s the way it is.”

Other liberal media outlets and pro-abortion bloggers have also begun admitting there was a blackout on covering Gosnell.

Huffington Post is a blatant propaganda rag sending people out to scrape together any specks that can be contorted to attack the U.S. and Israel and to bolster Islamicists.

Marc Lamont Hill is a scumbag. Maybe he should compare this to “a real life Django Unchained!”

I hate the left. The leftist media especially. Blood is on their hands.

Democrats have really started to creep me out.

This Gosnell thing really brings it home to me that Democrats are evil. Can anybody deny that now?

My friends, we need to admit this. And once we do then it's clear that there's no point in engaging in a discussion with Democrats. This is the mistake that we conservatives make over and over and over again. We can't seem to get that you can never engage in an honest discussion with a Democrat. They don't reason, they advocate their party line. Talking to them can only play into their hands. And once we admit that dialogue with them is worse than useless, and we observe that a republican form of government is predicated on reasoned discourse, then it becomes immediately apparent that we cannot share our Republic with Democrats.

After Obama's re-election, many of us raised the possibility of Red State Secession.

It fizzled.

But now with this whole Gosnell thing where the Democrats are intentionally stonewalling mass murder, can we in good conscience continue to pretend that there is anything worth saving in a Union with the Democrats?

I'll take it one step further. As a Christian, I really have to wonder whether the salvation of my own soul does not somehow depend on confronting forthrightly the simple truths that I briefly and perhaps clumsily set forth above.

I think that the answer is yes. I think that I cannot call myself a Christian and then turn around and continue to ignore the fact that one half of my fellow countrymen are on one level or another in league with Baal of the Furnace.

Does God want me to work toward secession?

I ask that all seek counsel their own small, still voice.

Because I have to say that after Gosnell, it seems pretty clear to me that the answer is yes, indeed I cannot have anything to do with the demonic forces that were revealed in Philadelphia, nor its active supporters or idiot dupes and retain any honest belief that I am a friend of God.

The libs still don’t quite realize that they don’t control the flow of information.

The media’s task isn’t to inform but to guide the populace by education to the proper thought patterns.

Yeah, the media skipped over the federal trials of “city aides” in major Rat cities. Same names working in different cities (including Detroit, Cleveland, New Orleans, Houston) with payola and other corruption.

Each city treated it as a local issue. This murder case has wider implications, at least when it comes to figures in Philly (CDC, health inspectors, hospitals that covered up botched abortions and deaths, and more).

I always wondered how God would separate the chaffe from the wheat on Judgement Day. It never dawned on me that the chaffe would separate themselves freely, willingly, and joyfully through their own free will decisions. That's a pretty clever system.

Well, as C. S. Lewis wrote, ultimately we will be divided into those who say to God, "Thy will be done, " and those to whom God says, "Thy will be done." The chaff will already have separated itself from the wheat before arriving at the Throne of Judgment.
