I was never all that much a Dead Head, but this song always meant something to me, I can't exactly put my finger on what. Its just so simple and captures something from those days so long ago.

I am right there with you brother. The “Dead” were some group. Recovery makes it all more appreciable. I am heading out to “Bethel Woods Center”, site of the original 1969 Woodstock festival, for an Irish folk concert momentarily. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to ya.

I resemble that Slur, still have long hair, live with 3 dogs and a cat so yeah I got fleas, dope stuff, well only a couple of times a year to recover a lost appetite-Surgery has been cruel...LOL.....Still Love the Music. I was an oddball hippie, always very Conservative. Learned to play (sort of) lap steel one day, and played this tune at the first Milwaukee “Be In.” We were the big hit of the show!
