I was never all that much a Dead Head, but this song always meant something to me, I can't exactly put my finger on what. Its just so simple and captures something from those days so long ago.

I am right there with you brother. The “Dead” were some group. Recovery makes it all more appreciable. I am heading out to “Bethel Woods Center”, site of the original 1969 Woodstock festival, for an Irish folk concert momentarily. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to ya.

I got a few dead pals who went just a few steps too many down that Highway to Hell. Saw many that were loved go down that highway. Many were just doing their duty in Vietnam and could not handle what they saw once they came home. Miss them all. They were the best of our best, and could not adjust.
