Media mogul Donald Trump slammed Beyonce's Super Bowl performance as 'ridiculous' and inappropriate. Appearing on the 'Howard Stern Show,' Trump said the singer was too 'suggestive' for a national audience. 'When Beyonce was thrusting her hips forward in a very suggestive manner, if someone else would have done that it would have been a national scandal,' Trump, 66, said. 'I thought it was ridiculous ... I thought it was not appropriate.'

Trump said he thought it was strange that no one else has criticized her for her scandalous dance moves.

'There's been no mention of it,' he said. 'So obviously, it must not have been so bad. She gets a pass.'

She’s a vapid slut, and so very far from lovely that it boggles the mind.

One is going by tomorrow BELOW the orbit of our geostationary satellites. 160 foot rock at 17,000 miles.

One picture -- one of the "unflattering" Beyonce pictures that we aren't supposed to circulate -- makes the same point better than Donald Trump ever could.

God hiccups, and it can be off by 18,000 miles in any direction.

Are you going to explain why you tossed the race card, or are you just going to act like a seven year old and go ad hominem, calling me a moron etc?

“Are you going to explain why you tossed the race card, or are you just going to act like a seven year old and go ad hominem, calling me a moron etc?”

You don’t get it. And after I explain it, I suspect you still won’t understand. It’s even in one of my posts, but you clearly don’t have the ability to process more than your own little attacks.

Look, you attacked me first, “libtard troll”. Then, even in your reply this time, you take softer tone, yet you still attack.

In spite of that, here’s my explanation. First, I freely admit I don’t care for Trump. He’s a relentless self promoter, and will be a Democrat, Republican, or whatever it takes to keep himself in the spotlight. So, I find the messenger to be flawed.

Second, Trump made no such comments about Madonna, and her halftime show, while not quite as slutty as Beyonce’s, wasn’t fit for prime time, (in the traditional sense).

Third, Trump is tied tightly to the right. He is a de facto spokesman. While I question his credentials, the Obama media doesn’t, nor does a large part of the public.

We have a black president who, in spite of being lazy, incompetent, and divisive, is hugely popular. Race relations are much worse today, and I think that’s by Obama’s design. Now, Trump, a spokesman for the right, criticizes a popular, celebrity black woman, in a way that’s almost stereotypical. To the Obama media, Trump may as well have called her a ghetto ho.

I did not say Trump played the race card, I said he was close. And to the Obama media, close is good enough. There is very little potential gain in Trump speaking up, and much more potential damage, in the eyes of our stupid public.

In summary, I don’t like Trump, and I don’t think the potential upside of his speaking out, outweighs the potential downside. That’s my opinion, and I can see where others would disagree, that’s what opinions are about. What I don’t see, is why someone would start off with insults, versus discussing the content of my post. But, if it’s insults you prefer, keep flinging them.

That America is a trash superpower that exports this trash under the guise of entertainment?

Our popular culture is trash, no question about it. Most TV shows are unwatchable to anyone with an IQ above room temperature, most "music" is just an excuse to adolescent sexual gyration with a drumbeat in the background, and books and magazines seem to be written for audiences with a 4th grade literacy level.

Who is to blame? Not the studios or companies that peddle it, but the consumers who demand it. And the reason we "export" this to other countries is because their public demands and is willing to pay money for it. If they public demanded high quality, the studios would gladly make a buck on that instead.

If you see trash on the TV or hear it on the radio, don't blame the broadcasters. Blame the consumers for not demanding better. They give us Beyonce and Madonna's crotches at the NFL halftime show instead of a piano concerto by Schumann or Brahms not because of some grand conspiracy to dumb people down, but because Beyonce and Madonna sell well to millions while a piano concerto sells to a handful.

Don't like it? Vote with your wallet by consuming and supporting the entertainment and culture that you like. Make sure that there's always a niche market for it against a backdrop of the trash that you can't stand.
