The 1/28/13 edition of TIME hits a new low with the "Gunfighters" lead story. I refuse to read this anti-gun dribble, but I fanned the article and looked at the graphics. The usual idiotic crap. The graphic on page 28 mistakenly identifies an AR-15 magazine as a "clip". On page 32 a picture of an AK syle rifle is mistakenly identified as an AR-15. The stupidest thing I have EVER seen is on page 41. In bold letters in the middle of the page it states "There are 600-round magazines that sell for as low as $25.95."
600 round mags. Really? Is there anyone out there that actually beleives this crap???

An honest journalist would have actually purchased one, as proof.....but they’re not honest, are they.
Gabrial, had I not lost ALL my guns in a boating accident 15 miles out in the ocean I’d be looking for a few of those 600 round mags for $29.95.

There is a serious problem in America, and it is clearly getting much, much worse: In fact there are several.
There is a “media” in America. It is biased, focused and anti-conservative.
There is “entertainment” in America. It is equally biased, and equally anti-conservative.
There is “education” in America with likewise, gives only one side of the story.
In each of these areas, the bias is now blatant, unmistakable yet to this point, remains unopposed.
That is our problem.
Why are not, we opposing all these blatant problems?

Why?
At 600 rds. you’d need a belt fed weapon, a shooter and a feeder. As far as I know there aren’t even any standard AKs that are belt fed. That, of course, doesn’t rule out the Russians using the basic AK mechanism for a crew served weapon.

I picked up one when I was home for the holidays, someone has a subscription. What struck me is how few pages there were. This is a cost cutting sign and IMO a sign the magazine in question is not healthy financially.
