Another Jif eater, here
Look at the Skippy label and you’ll understand.
They take all the peanut oil out and put cheaper oils in.
Jif does as well, but in far less proportion. That’s why Jif tastes better.
(Among the treats occasionally enjoyed at the Shibumi Residence is peanut butter and strawberry preserves - with bacon. Thick cut bacon, cooked just so you can still discern the fat. Wash it down with good old AMERICAN apple juice.)
