No matter what vulgar things Kathy Griffin does on CNN's live New Year's Eve broadcasts, the folks at the supposedly most trusted name in news continue to invite her back.
On Monday night's program, after first telling co-host Anderson Cooper "I'm going to tickle your sack," she shortly after midnight actually kissed his crotch (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
Roughly eleven minutes into the program which began at 10 PM, Cooper commented about how on Twitter folks were suggesting that there should be a game that whenever he giggles nervously during the show, contestants have to take a drink.
Then, completely out of the blue, Griffin said, “I'm going to tickle your sack. You can say sack. That's not bad.”
An obviously nervous Cooper responded, “I don't know what you're talking about. I have no sack of gifts here.”
Griffin then suggested the camera pan lower so the audience can see her “naughty gestures.”
When Cooper continued to try and clean it up by again referring to a sack of Christmas presents, Griffin asked, “You’re calling your privates your Christmas presents?”
When Cooper said, “No,” Griffin replied, “That’s typical hot guy. ‘Let’s open up the Christmas presents.’”
But Griffin wasn’t finished with her lewd behavior.

She’s the skank who paraded around her little lapdog Levi Johnson back when he was trying to get his fifteen minutes by badmouthing the Palin family.
I hope we will all stay out of the muck. contribute to the best that is, not was America. Teach your children about the excellence in writing, reading and standards that should be. Turn off the foolishness of reality TV and stupidity of todays journalism.
Dress when you go to church. Give thanks when you are about to eat. Work out to keep your body and mind fit. Read, read and read. Interest your children in great literature by speaking about it and peaking their interest.
Answer the folly that is our Administration, by actually knowing what the constitution says and what our rights are.
Do not give in to the lowering of standards but instead raise the bar!!!
We can be strong again if we are the example of excellence and are the example our children long for.
The best way is to not comment verbally, but with pride stand for what is right in deed!
I look forward to the return of the excellence in education, home and church. But someone has got to want it......I DO!
my resolution for this year.....live a life of excellence, i am starting by enrolling in a class, maybe HIllsdale, to know our rights and constitution.
Join me and cut literally this crap out of your life! Tune out the garbage...dont allow it in your home or in your speech.

I think any other network would have cut away for a commercial break...and someone read that hobag the riot act...

Her remarks were quickly condemned by the Catholic League which urged the academy to "denounce Griffin's obscene and blasphemous comment."[34] The Academy said that her "offensive remarks will not be part of the E! telecast on Saturday night".[35] Griffin later responded, "Am I the only Catholic left with a sense of humor?"[36] Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly called Griffin a "pinhead" for her remark, which Griffin considered a "badge of honor."[37][38]
She is disgusting and not funny - why would anyone watch CNN at all, let alone during a Twilight Zone marathon?

I had the misfortune of seeing this on the TV last night.. while flipping around for some more suitable way to watch the ball drop, the other channels showing live coverage were just as bad. Happy New Year.
