That and a belief in mob-rule are about the last two civic principles left, at least for a majority of the nation.
“Post of the day, Bravo. Wait to see the scream even louder if they dont fix the AMT. Their CPAs EAs and Tax Pros are gonna need to stock up on Excedrin and crying towels for these NE-Libs....”
FINALLY, someone gets it. We, conservatives, are so convinced (at least subconsciously) that liberals are poor and live on welfare...or at least don’t pay much taxes - and that Republican voters will mainly benefit from extending the Bush Tax Cuts.
NOT TRUE!!! There’s a whole section of the country, the Northeast, with some 80 million people, where BOATLOADS of them make big money, in many cases - HUGE MONEY (same, to a large extent in California and Seattle) - that is how the Dems keep winning those states, as they don’t have that many welfare cases, compared to other parts of the country. Those liberal ‘people’ benefited huge from the Bush Tax Cuts, but they cannot bring themselves to appreciate it, because they hate Republicans so much.
Furthermore, these people live in very high cost states, where their property is expensive, taxes are high, owning a car is expensive, grooming their dog is expensive, and nearly all of the good colleges are private (except California, to some extent). I don’t know if you’ve ever stood next to a 747 with its engines running (I haven’t, but I have a pretty good idea what it’s like), but that’s about the decibel level you’ll hear from them if you tell them that their $218,000 per year salary makes them rich.
The Democrats know exactly who those people are and that’s why they will NEVER permit their taxes to go back to Clinton levels.
The Republicans need to call their bluff - because it is a bluff.
Wish Hillary will do the right thing for once in her life - destroy obozo now with Benghazi scandal.
But don’t hold your breath on this.
If only she can be convinced that she will be rewarded in 2016 if she destroys obozo now...........then maybe there is hope.
Why would he? Who is going to stop him? The same people looking into the voter fraud? The same people looking into Benghazi? There is absolutely nothing telling him he can not pull off staying in office indefinitely. Quite honestly, I can see him doing it with very little recourse.
Yep!
