Newt Gingrich is on the right track to fix GOP for 2014 and 2016
Gingrich Productions ^ | December 22, 2012 | Ralph Mitchell

Posted on 12/22/2012 8:26:39 AM PST by mitchell001

Newt Gingrich is working with RNC Chairman Reince Priebus to develop a 6 to 9 month planning group to reinvigorate the GOP for 2014 and 2016 and beyond. Tough, major changes are required to match the Dems entrenched political machines and coalitions.

Gingrich: GOP Must ‘Accommodate and Deal With Reality’ on Same-sex Marriage

Newt, this is NOT the right way. Please listen to Pope Benedict XVI.

The pope pressed his opposition to gay marriage Friday, denouncing what he described as people eschewing their God-given gender identities to suit their sexual choices -- and destroying the very "essence of the human creature" in the process.

Face it.

While Gingrich can enthuse our side, he did quit when he should have fought, bigtime.

And he has waffled sometimes big.

He is a welcome member of our side, but Newt please, please do not run again.

Interesting set of recommendations. There’s no doubt he has a brilliant analytical mind. I wish I could truly trust him and Rance Priebus. But these ideas give real conservatives a place to start, as long as we continue to be involved at the very local level. Thanks for the post.

I don’t know how many times I’ve said that he can really talk the talk, but he can’t walk the walk.

If he’d stayed in his hole this past election cycle, we might not have gotten stuck with Romney. Now he wants to work with RINO Reince Priebus. Together, they intend to screw things up again.

Hey Newt it doesn’t matter what you do until you fix voter fraud! The dems will be a lot more sophisticated with their tactics next time.

Written by Lawrence Sellin
Americans are no longer citizens of a republic, but subjects of a reigning oligarchy composed of self-serving politicians, who are subservient to international financiers and enabled by a dishonest and partisan press.
The oligarchy operates the government as a “kleptocracy,” which exists to increase the personal wealth and political power of its officials and the ruling class at the expense of the wider population with no longer any pretense of honest public service. It is a government of thieves, where politicians and bureaucrats exploit their posts for personal gain with ever-increasing budget deficits. Through legislation and executive orders, the oligarchy then shifts the burden for debt repayment onto ordinary working people and absolves itself of any responsibility for creating the liability in the first place.
The oligarchy maintains a vice-grip on power by adjusting the levers of government, subverting the electoral process and using the mainstream media to manipulate public perception and opinion.
The outcome of the 2012 Presidential election was determined by massive voter fraud. This was done in two ways (1) illegal voters and (2) erasing votes.
Here are only a few of the hundreds of nationwide claims of voter fraud.
Barack Obama won St. Lucie County, Florida, which had 141.1% voter turnout. That is, out of 175,554 registered voters, 247,713 votes were cast.
It was estimated that more than 20% of registered Ohio voters weren’t eligible. According to authorities, in two counties, the number of registered voters actually exceeded the voting-age population. The report said, in 31 other counties, registrations were above 90 percent of the population, “a rate regarded as unrealistic by most voting experts.”
In pivotal Wood County, Ohio, which Obama won, 106,258 people were registered to vote out of an eligible 98,213.
In 21 of the 1,022 precincts in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, the statistically impossible happened. Barack Obama beat Mitt Romney by 5,978 to zero. Even third party and write-in candidates got more votes than Romney. In 202 precincts Obama tallied 95% of the vote and in 20 precincts he received over 99%. Furthermore, the average number of voters per precinct decreased by more than half as you move from precincts where Obama won less than 50% of the vote (714) to those where he won 95% (356). In precincts where Romney received zero votes, the average number of voters was 288. These data suggest that Romney votes were being systematically erased.
The same type of voting pattern was reported in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where in 59 precincts Mitt Romney got zero votes. It is also a statistical improbability that out of 19,605 votes, not even one vote was cast in error for Romney.
Obama also received 99% of the vote in some precincts in Broward County, Florida.
In addition, thousands of votes from members of the military, who were believed to be mostly Romney supporters, went uncounted or missing.
Does anyone detect a pattern?
Even though Obama received 10 million fewer votes in 2012 than he did in 2008, the Democrats were able to win where it mattered. Romney got 2.8 million fewer votes than Republican Presidential candidate John McCain received in 2008, despite indications that the Obama opposition was far more energized in 2012.
In the face of numerous signs and symptoms of a stolen election, there is no investigation. There is only silence.
The Republican Party is dead or should be.
There is a report claiming that he Republican Party signed a legal agreement with the Democrat Party in 1982 not to pursue suspected vote fraud.
If there is no guarantee of election integrity, then elections become only window dressing for tyranny.
The conventional wisdom on the Republican side, however, was best reflected in an editorial “You Think Obama Stole the Election? Then Read This,” which appeared in the for-profit blog Red State. Without providing any data whatsoever, the author declared that there wasn’t “enough” voter fraud to affect the outcome of the Presidential election and anyone who questioned that conclusion was a conspiracy theorist similar to those who believed the 9/11 attack was an inside job. Red State plans to ban anyone from their site who disagrees with them.
That is the type of response from those who have some vested interest in maintaining the status quo, usually financial.
So, just how much voter fraud is “enough” and how should honest citizens respond?
That question was answered by ordinary Americans during the “Battle of Athens” in August 1946.
In McMinn County, Tennessee, a wealthy family, the Cantrells, had taken control of the county political machine in the 1930’s. Paul Cantrell was elected county sheriff in 1936, 1938 and 1940. In 1942 and 1944, he was elected to the state senate, while his chief deputy, Pat Mansfield, was elected county sheriff.
The U.S. Department of Justice received complaints from county citizens of electoral fraud in the 1940, 1942 and the 1944 elections. The complaints went unanswered. Deputies commonly accepted bribes, intimidated voters, tampered with ballot boxes, and began physically assaulting those who spoke out. The sheriff’s department falsely ticketed and arrested individuals to obtain money for personal and political purposes. Local political bosses were just as corrupt.
World War II veterans returning to their home county were outraged by the tyrannical establishment. During the 1946 election, veterans fielded their own non-partisan candidates and attempted to have a fraud-free election. Paul Cantrell was again running for sheriff, while the current sheriff, Pat Mansfield, sought the state senate seat.
On August 1, 1946, Election Day, Sheriff Mansfield brought in 200 “deputies” to detain and beat up the veterans, who were acting as poll-watchers to ensure a fair and legal vote. In addition, they took the ballot boxes to the jailhouse to count the votes privately. Taking the ballot boxes constituted a violation of Tennessee law, as ballots must be counted in full view of the voting public.
After one poll-watcher was shot by a “deputy,” while trying to stop confiscation of the ballot boxes, enraged veterans armed themselves and sought to obtain the ballot boxes to prevent voter fraud and stop government tyranny.
A firefight at the jailhouse ensued and the veteran blew up the jailhouse door with dynamite to get the ballot boxes.
In a fair count, the veteran electoral candidates were victorious over the deeply entrenched and corrupt political machine. The rule of law was restored to McMinn County, Tennessee. The veterans were never prosecuted for their armed resistance to government tyranny.
The voter fraud and government tyranny that occurred in McMinn County is now happening across the country. Complaints to law enforcement officials are going unanswered.
In the United States today, there are no fair elections, there is no rule of law, there is no means to petition elected officials or courts for the redress of grievances and there is no free press to challenge governmental abuse.
Like the World War II veterans of McMinn County, Tennessee, the government is forcing one remaining option on the citizens – rebellion to restore Constitutional government and the rule of law.

To: Logical me

I agree completely.

While I adore many members of the mainstream conservative movement, I abhor the simplistic analysis of the 2012 defeat by some on our side. Rush Limbaugh saying, “If we’d have only ran a conservative candidate, we would have won!” is absolutely false - no one in the lineup, nor any conservative that I can think of, could have overcome the demographic changes.

So, we need a plan for the future to address this. I don’t know what it is, and it’s sure to upset some people - be them conservatives, RINOs, or whomever they may be. But the status quo is a blueprint for defeat at this point. Kudos to Newt for at least getting the ball moving.

When? In 2012? There was no mathematical way to beat Romney at that point. In the late 90s? The GOP in the House turned on him. He knew he'd become a distraction from the agenda and left just like the 'sainted' Sarah Palin quit her governorship.

Please! If you and your self-loathing self-defeatists stopped carping and could making up for minds who the back against Romney any time during that four years since 2008, we might've had someone else. Remember when Newt's campaign was "dead" because of "right wing social engineering"... which Ryan's plan was because it offered Americans no choices, just the gov't's dictated way... Without Newt's strong debate performances Romney would not have been the strong candidate against Obama that he was in those debates. GOPe muppet Santorum and various vanity candidates like Cain and Bachmann had no business on the stage .

Newt's working with the RNC chair. That's the fact. Are you saying he should refuse to work with the chair because you believe the chair is a RINO? Give me a break! HOW do any of you expect to win anything by appealing to a smaller and smaller and smaller audience in an echo chamber and refusing to grow the party or work with those who, you know, are chosen to be in the leadership.

The tantrums are the height of juvenile behavior that sabotage the agenda cycle after cycle.

LEAD, FOLLOW OR GET OUT OF THE WAY.

No I was referring to when Gingrich was in charge.

He made a terrible mistake standing down back in the day. He did not recognize the GOP had become simply choreographed from outside the party.

And by so doing, he ended up reinforcing the liberals manipulations.

We need a new party, it is starting to appear. One driven, and focused. On among other things, AMERICAN JOBS.

I do not know for sure, but each day appears less likely that those on the right side will be in charge in the GOP.

At some point soon, we may need to choose a new way.

Wake up GOP. Soon.

Never regained that prominence again.

He made a terrible mistake standing down back in the day. He did not recognize the GOP had become simply choreographed from outside the party.

When those who voted you into that leadership position turn on you and you've become a personalized lightning-rod distraction from the agenda how do you fight?

You have a short memory because his infidelity caused many conservatives to turn on him. He had no support base... not the GOPe, not 'conservatives... not the mushy middle, not the Left... He would've just been seen as trying desperately to cling to power.

Newt tried to illustrate this point when he asked people to be "with him" in the campaign and not "for him" because leading politicians need ongoing and active support or they're done.

I like how the Speaker who got more than 2/3rds of the House and Senate and a Democratic president to pass the Defense of Marriage act is now being attacked for commenting on the shifting political realities. As a historian, Newt is commenting on the obvious from the 2012 election: things have fundamentally changed when you can put "gay marriage" on a ballot and most voters in a state vote FOR it.

I understand Newt's viewpoint because I won't deny reality just because I don't like it. It's a demographic war, a cultural battle lost a decade or longer ago because younger generations don't hold the new view and values as older ones on the issue.

Sadly immigration may end up the same way; despite how fundamentally wrong Bush's "comprehensive immigration reform" was, it may have been the politically smart path. It may have been the GOP's last opportunity to address the changing demographics. The war for those future voters may be over.

Obama may be the first in a very long line of Democrat presidents.

I was referring to back in the day. He was once great. Still is, but no longer in a situation to win the Whitehouse.

I sure hope Gingrich stays very involved. Possibly helping Palin win even.

In my opinion though he cannot directly win. Not anymore.

He sure can support and build though.

He would be part of a very winning team.

I certainly didn’t oppose Newt because he was too conservative. Far from it. His record in office tells the story. He started out strong, but by the end he was doing whatever clinton wanted.

He had no moral principles. He could not be trusted to be reliably pro-life. He had a long series of sexual affairs and divorces. And he will back down again, any time he thinks it’s in his interest.

He is only about himself. Good grief. “Newt Gingrich is on the right track.” Says Newt Gingrich. On his own website. Me, me, me, me.

As for Reince Priebus, he also has a record of RINO betrayals.

'Fix' the GOP for 2014 and 2016??

Get 'tough'?

What makes them think the massive voter fraud in this last farce of an election won't be repeated? If we don't clean up our voting system, there may not be a next time.

Surely no one believes America voted to reelect the Marxist/Muslim usurper- the worst president in American history?

Can't you just imagine the above was the scene with Obama and his Commie staff after stealing the election through voter fraud- while Conservatives blame Romney, argue, point fingers, blather on about who to run in four years, 'starting a new party', and try to figure out how to suck up to minorities the 'next time'?

Next time? What makes them think the massive voter fraud in this last farce of an election won't be repeated? If we don't clean up our voting system, there may not be a next time. We may not see another Republican president in our lifetime

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Map from Barack Obama Voter Fraud 2012

What most refuse to acknowledge is that it was unlikely that ANYBODY could have beaten the voter fraud planned and perpetrated by the criminal Obama machine. They seem to prefer pointing fingers, blaming Romney and blathering on about who to run in 2016 and how to suck up to the minorities.

>Polls indicated that Romney was going to win the election.

>The economy is close to Great Depression era conditions, and unemployment is almost as high as when Obama entered office.

>Economic conditions became so dire after Obama took office it prompted the rise of an entire new movement, the Tea Party.

>Presidents rarely win reelection when the economy is in the tank.

>Mitt knew it too, when he was met by several thousand in that parking garage cheering him when he arrived unannounced at that airport, and he put his hand over his heart and said, 'This is how you know you've won'.

So how did Romney lose a race that numerous reputable polls and pundits predicted would be an easy win, based on historical patterns?

Massive voter fraud.

That and no other reason

Almost every major Conservative website has put out an article charging voter fraud- Breitbart, American Thinker, Atlas Shrugs, WND, The Blaze, Front Page Magazine, Fox News, The Daily Caller, Town Hall, Human Events, Canada Free Press...

We cannot wait for 2014 and 2016 to regroup and figure out new strategies. By then it will be too late. The Marxist/Muslim usurper will have completed his planned distruction of America. That's what people fail to understand.

We must act NOW.

Start with the election. If we let the Rats get away with this massive voter fraud, we're no better than a bananna republic.

We must keep digging and pounding him every day, in every way we can- phony birth certificate, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, his hidden life, records....

The second statement puts the lie to your first statement. You clearly DO NOT BELIEVE people can do whatever they want with their own money.

Okay, so you're a moron with poor reading comprehension skills. Good for you.

Deep down you're just petty and envious.

Yeah, Deep down I want to cover myself in bling, like a gangsta.
Check off, Charlie.

Thanks for the detail.
Unfortunately the time to fight voter fraud is before the election. After the election, we have practically no way to expose and prosecute the fraud, because —
they have complete control of the entire election system - from FEC, to Soros SOS (and their dem state election officials), the obama propaganda machine media, the corrupt to the core courts/judges, the union thugs, ACORN type voter fraud thugs, the obama idiotic givemegiveme leeches who will vote often and vote for handouts, the rigged voting machines, the illegal aliens, dead, felon voters, the ballot stuffing, the vote switching, the discarding of Republican votes, the delayed/lost ballots for military .....

We need to work NOW to reduce voter fraud for next election -
voter ids for all states,
eliminate early voting,
have our own militia (equivalent to their ‘black panthers’) observing voting stations and vote counting,
no reporting on vote counts until all precincts have reported,
all late boxes of votes will be discarded, no ‘provisional ballots’ for people who have sent in for absentee ballot.... etc.

Urge Allan West to lead Florida’s anti-voter-fraud efforts.
Urge other state leaders to lead the efforts in their states.

Take it back state by state!

IMHO, Newt has done an excellent analysis.

I see two problems:

1. Getting the entrenched consultants, etc. out will be difficult. Many of them are very well connected.

2. This is the biggie. How do you get folks sucking on the government teat to agree to stop? As Sir Tyler said,

We are there. The 47% spoken of by Romney is real. For those folks, their entire existence revolves around freebies from nobama. Seems to me this is a hugh mountain to climb.

Umm...Newt working with Deniece Preibus is not the “right track” for ‘14 and ‘16.
