Several conservative House Republican members are contemplating a plan to unseat Speaker John Boehner from his position on January 3, Breitbart News has exclusively learned. Staffers have compiled a detailed action plan that, if executed, could make this a reality. The Republicans, both conservatives and more establishment members alike, are emboldened after the failure of Boehner’s fiscal cliff “Plan B” on Thursday evening. Dissatisfaction with Boehner is growing in the House Republican conference, but until now there hasn’t been a clear path forward.

Well, you didn’t name one, so I assume you are guessing. Face it, all those Republican House members agree with Obama on everything and think Republican voters are ignorant jerks. They just pretend to think otherwise to get jobs.
My Congressman Paul Gosar, is not one of those jerks. he was a Tea party freshman, reelected and he is a good Conservative.

Pretty sure that's not how it works. I think the Caucus elects leadership in the first days of the new Congress, or before the session...no long campaigns.
Well I am not sure how it works. But somehow a replacement candidate would have to call people and line up support. I understand the sensitivity and they don’t want to go public etc. I want this to happen.
I think the leadership campaign period is pretty short term...like a week.

Boehner disliked Tim precisely because Time openly stated on Fox News and anywhere else he could speak that, "He wasn't sent to Washington to do the bidding of the Speaker, or the rest of the RNC leadership. He was sent to Washington to do the will of the good people of Kansas that sent him to do what he promised he would do!"
Of course, Tim couldn't be elected as Speaker as one has to kiss too many backsides of the other RNC toadies but if the House desired to elect a man of principle, they wouldn't do worse than elect Tim Huelscamp as Speaker.

Both times, he punted. He basically said the exact same thing - which was nothing but a rah, rah campaign speech like he was running for office and hoping to get your donation!
That man is worthless.......and he won't look you in the eye when he is speaking to you. Never, ever trust anyone that won't look you in the eye, especially if that person is a politician!
Didn't someone state that according to the rules, one need not be an elected member of Congress to serve as Speaker of the House?
Or maybe I'm just dreaming as that person is third in line to the Presidency and one would assume that the person be an elected official.
Unfortunately, for us, Boehner isn't either, "conservative" or "leader."
“The plan” begins with a secret ballot. Not going to happen unless 80% majority agrees.
US Constitution Article 1 section 5:
Each House shall keep a Journal of its Proceedings, and from time to time publish the same, excepting such Parts as may in their Judgment require Secrecy; and the Yeas and Nays of the Members of either House on any question shall, at the Desire of one fifth of those Present, be entered on the Journal.
R’s did not vote for Obamacare. Get that straight. The Tea Party saw to it. The Democrats, controlling the house Senate and Presidency, did that alone.

He holds secret talks with Rinos, Dems and Obama and then comes in and announces how Republians will vote. He does not have the political skill to lay out a strategy with the members and bring them along in a plan. He does not have the skill to lay out and coordinate a message representing Obama’s opposition and tagging Obama as the radical who thinks he can dictate and wants to go over the cliff.
Boner has to go. We need a Speaker who can talk and coordinate a bunch of messenagers, understands the battle ground and who can bring people along. First thing Boner did after the election where the GOP WON the House was denounce the voters who put him there and then act like a hatchet man on committee members. He’s no political genus.

To be a clear path forward you need a candidate to replace him. Last I heard there isn’t one.
Let's be realistic. That isn't going to happen, short of giving the Dems everything they want and getting diddley squat in return.
At that point, I see his job to thwart and frustrate the Communist agenda in every way possible. Hold the line. It is a long way down the slippery slope, even now.
We need someone who can play hardball and push back.
