Sad to say, but Netflix is going away! I went in to look for a family movie, and on their main browser page, I just noticed they have a category for Gay/Lesbian content.
It will be hard for the kids, but I will not support this.
Bad news. I just do not want to have tv or movies anymore. Aids already killed one of my brothers, a second is infected. The whole gay thing has cost my family dearly.
Gays and lesbians are already injected into all programming at a rate far disproportionate to their numbers in society. Why should they also get their own channel?
They’ve had it for a while. I’m surprised you hadn’t seen it before.
I wonder why these people think its so important we know what they do with their genitalia.
They already have a couple of cable channels. LOGO is one of them I think.

I don’t know what they are pushing more at Netflix, the homosexual agenda or the B grade Red Chinese rewrite of history agenda. Overall Netflix has gone in the toilet since they lost their ties to Disney and Stars.
Well online only nf has horrible movie choices aside from tv series anyway. Ive been paying for 4 months or so and have only watched 3 or 4 movies. Redbox or other sources may be best. But yeah sick of it too.
Over the past few years, I stopped ordering from several book/dvd/etc catalogs, once they started including homo categories. Dropped ‘em like a rock. I’m not giving any of my business to some company promoting and normalizing such twisted crap, if I can help it.

Amazon has the same category in its movie genre list. There are other smaller competitors that might be better - popcornflix, midnight pulp, crackle, and several “classic tv” lists.
I try not to venture into the ‘documentary’ section anymore. Left wing, anti-family and anti-Christian crap from Bill Maher, Michael Moore, and various militant atheists.
I’m still not sure why gay/lesbian people need their own damn movie section as if they’re some kind of elite class. Imagine if they had a ‘black’ section. There would be outrage. Also, how can 3% of the population justify an ENTIRE section. It’s pandering at its worst. There’s no way what’s in that section gets much traffic. Netflix has sold out to the homosexual lobby.
It’s tempting to just watch movies illegally when they constantly try to push garbage onto us. The movie business is going the way of the music industry. Sad.
You should have the ability to hide from view any content you don’t like. Netflix should get their act together.
Got rid of the boob tube over 4 months ago. Don’t miss it one bit and threads like this remind me why.

We are barely tolerated guests in our own country.

In this family we are entirely divorced from mainstream entertainment other than traditional kids’ films and an occasional newer release that is screened by friends with a similar outlook (meaning contempt for the world at large).

There are a lot of christian shows that are very good on Netflix. They had that gay thing for years but if you look they are all 1 or 2 star shows really bad.

I thank you for the links provided but they stink. They are not near as good as Netflix or Amazon. crackle.com has Netflix as one of their sponsors so really you are supporting Netflix indirectly anyway. Just keep Netflix and Amazon and just don’t go to the gay/lesbian section. If people don’t go to those areas, they will eventually get rid of them to make room for more popular areas.

Yes, but Netflix is now such a PITA to browse through that you have to search pretty hard to find it. It also has some neat Military Channel stuff (although Dogfights is pretty jingoistic; there are aces who werent’t American or Israeli). They’ve also now have a Just for Kids section that will keep the little darlings away from the faggotry if they click on it (the Just for Kids section I mean).

That why I tend to prefer classic movies made during the Hays code era. There were certain rules and societal norms of the time which would’ve prevented a lot of that being shown.
Our primary use of Netflix is to watch excellent British television programs such as Top Gear, Dr. Who, old Agatha Christie stuff like Poirot, Miss Marple, Tommy and Tuppence, Cadfael, Foyle’s War, Rosemary and Thyme, etc.
American television is crap wrapped in garbage and coated with stupidity.
My experience with netflix is that the “categories” that you see are tied to what has been watched recently. Are you certain nothing has been ‘watched’ recently with homosexual content?
By the way, and of course this is your decision, you may want to re-think. Gay/Lesbian genre seems to be a legitimate subsection of film...there is a “gay” section in your local library and bookstores, but we don’t boycott them.
Just sayin’. BTW, I find sodomy a sin, too...but won’t stop watching or using a service just because they HAPPEN to carry materials related to them...I do not consider that an “endorsement”.

I tossed my TV about four years ago when I saw the gay agenda openly promoted on Saturday morning kids TV, I also stopped supporting Hollywood or liberal media in any form...I don’t go to theatres or rent movies, either.
I get all the news from the Net and Youtube has more old movies than I’ll ever have time to watch. And I have no compunctions against illegal pirating/downloading of new movies over the net, I don’t do the downloading but I have friends who do; if a movie is just out today they’ll generally have a copy of it in three to five days. I don’t care if it’s illegal, if it hurts these socialist networks for a dollar I’m just too pleased to aid and abet.
I haven’t gone Galt but there isn’t one area of my life that the line hasn’t been drawn to the bone. Not one dime has this administration gotten from me, unless you count sales tax. And not a dam thing do I ask from them.
Better stay away from the public library too.... I don’t think you’d like Dewey Decimal section 778.92

But they should have their own rating - instead of “PG” for example, “GP” for Gay Pride (Gay Propaganda?). Then you can ferret them out by rating.

Bring up the fact that Homo Depot and other places have lost business for supporting such causes and to look at the sales of Chick-fil-a during the anti gay protest.
Their sales and stocks went into the tank after some idiot released a snooty letter giving a rate hike. They last thing this company needs is a boycott like that is killing Home depot. A boycott like that would put them under.

If you will elect to support the makers of media you prefer by buying their DVDs instead of renting from a company that wants to get as much volume as possible from everyone, you will not contribute to something you oppose. Of course, in order to be true to your beliefs in this fashion, you will pay more, but isn’t that worth it?
For me, I buy the hunting and fishing videos and few movies I am fairly confident I will enjoy. My money goes to the specific producers. It’s like no longer contributing to the GOP when I can send my donations to the specific campaigns of candidates I want to see in office.

If you’re going to sit and stare at the idiot box, then Netflix (which is how the name is spelled!) most certainly beats broadcast TV, because it gives you choice what to watch and when, and as far as homosexuality, well, there is plenty of it in Hollywood, in advertising, fashion and interior decorating, so whatcha gonna do, walk around nekkid and live in an unfurnished house to protest the trends and the fall of Western Civilization?
Video rentals have had homosexuality as a category of their own for quite a while. Believe me, rental stores have had it, and Netflix, well, they’ve had it for some time. Frankly, right now, you have the choice to ignore such films. Netflix to me, anyways, allows me the option of choosing whether or not to watch such films, and allows streaming of content of my choice, I don’t have to see ads for such films, should I not wish to see them. And most of these films are pretty much obscure pornos anyhow. It’s not much of an issue to me, and frankly, the fact that Netflix makes such films totally optional to me is the good part about it.
The internet has a gay/lesbian channel.
