Portions of Albert Einstein’s brain have been found to be unlike those of most people and could be related to his extraordinary cognitive abilities, according to a new study led by Florida State University evolutionary anthropologist Dean Falk.

I never really thought of him as wildly intelligent. He just thought in different directions than most people of the time.

I’m smarter than Einstein in that at least I never embraced socialism.

I would imagine there are millions of geniuses out there. But what to pursue?

All men are geniuses in their own place.

"evolutionary" anythings are pretty much discredited. The neuroplasticity of the brain is such that structural anomalies are meaningless without functional analysis of the neurons involved. Unfortunately, dead brains offer no such possibility.

This is nothing but whoring after grant money.

So they think that his intellegence had something to do with his brain.

Hmmmmmm

A while ago I had a patient who had a small benign tumor in her brain. Her behavior and emotions changed dramatically. When I spoke to her neurologist, he said it had nothing to do with the tumor...nothing.

The fact that she and her family reported significant change to funtioning and there was a newly discovered tumor was jsut an artifact.

No you're not, you never did anything for science, society or anything and nobody's ever heard of you............

Sounds to me like the only thing that defines you is your obsession with politics. Broaden your horizons dude, there's happiness outside of politics if you're willing to look for it........

If he had not been a Jew in Nazi Germany but instead a member of German National Socialist Party this would be a very different world today...

There could easily be all sorts of changes that are not easily detected by whatever tools the quacks have.

I have personal knowledge of one anecdotal case where changes were not before the diagnosis. Different strokes for different folks. That whole brain thing is way complex.

My anatomy instructor in college said that Einstein had far more glial cells than a ‘normal’ brain. Not sure how that would account for his intellect.

“Portions of Albert Einstein’s brain have been found”

There’s some really strange stories about what may or may not have happened to his brain. There’s probably no telling for sure whether these guys are actually even working with part of his brain.
