Mitt probably couldn’t have turned things around with an adversarial media and a dem senate and would have been scorned. Now, there will be no excuse for the destruction. Maybe a blessing in disguise.
They won't regret it. They will be told and fully believe that it is all Bush's fault, the Rs in Congress and the rich. If they didn't get it in the last four years they never will. It is over.
