Just Went Over To DU..(Lord, forgive me!)Vanityi

Posted on 11/06/2012 8:44:03 AM PST by SandyLynn

Okay..I just lowered myself to seeing what the unwashed masses are saying over at DU. My goodness..they are 1000% sure this thing is in the bag for Odumbo! Not one single thread is showing even a semblance of fear. Thoughts?

Charles and I will be closely monitoring the DUmmie reactions in the DUmmie FUnnies. I prefer to wait until after the results come in. Let them enjoy themselves for now.

FREUDENSCHADE!!!

"They were the same way during the Bush/kerry campaign. Michel Moore was simply giddy. They thought for sure it was a kerry landslide.

They were celebrating long before the polls closed because the lines were so long (they thought, obviously, all those people must be voting for john kerry.)

They were wrong then, too."

Back then I was posting on a political message board----combined Reps and Dems. A fat lesbian lawyer (liberal, naturally) actually composed a song to Kerry and Edwards on the eve of the election, and posted the lyrics. It's been a long time, but it was something pathetic and flowery about the rising of a new dawn with no hate.

Wow, did the Republicans on the board enjoy ripping her for that one after Bush won, LOL.

Isn't it odd how you feel dirty just from being exposed to their minds? It's weird, but it's not just an old joke to say 'I wanted to shower after I visited.' ... you actually feel dirty.

Not one single thread is showing even a semblance of fear. Thoughts?

Nor do stampeding lemmings.

When Reagan swept against Mondale, a prominent name in media - I just forget who it was - said "I can't believe it! This is impossible! NO ONE I KNOW VOTED FOR REAGAN"

This is one of the reasons I have no problem having liberal friends ... living in a bubble is not good for being connected to reality.

With respect to those who died, I would liken DU right now to the Space Shuttle Challenger at take off. Those on board had no knowledge of a problem with an "O" ring. No pun intended, but kind of funny ...

Anyway, they don't know. Liberalism has always found it's only success in collective hypnosis. They aren't just wrong, they exist on a different plane of consciousness. In this case, it is not a higher level of consciousness based on enlightenment, but a lower one, characterized by deceit, acceptance of whatever the surface says. ... and of course, this is the primary thing God warns us against - mistaking the manifest for the true.

It's just another way of looking at the truism "all liberals are either ignorant or evil."

The evil hypnotize the ignorant. That's the dynamic - that's the 2 liberal types. DU is really just a mental institution for the permanently hypnotized. As some of their cortexes begin re-firing, primarily in response to irreconcilable discrepancies between reality and what they hold in their minds, they come into a semi awake stage, at which point, they become the hypnotizers - these are the thread moderators and the 'council who expels' - who believe they are taking on a leadership role in the organization, even though they are just being used by those slightly less hypnotized.

Always, always, always ... liberalism is a psychological ponzi scheme where the architectural foundation of the house of cards is hypnosis. At the very top of many levels, are the very awake ... and that is the pure 'evil' part. They disdain their fellow man, and disdain their followers more than they even disdain their opposition.

Where did they learn disdain for their fellow man? They observe themselves, hate what they see, and assume the rest of mankind is like them. If I were a liberal, I too would hate mankind.

Those are my thoughts.

“What’s with FOX news? They’re showing hussein, hussein, and more hussein.”

I was wondering the same thing. I had to check my TV to see if somehow my dog had stepped on the remote and changed the channel to CNN or MSNBC.

Going to bed early? If it’s a Reagan-type landslide tonight, you’re going to miss a lot of fun!

Great observations, Hannibal! One of the other things I noticed..tons of “f bombs” thrown around casually. I know that doesn’t bother a lot of people, but to me..it just indicates that “down in the gutter” type of behavior. And yes..I really feel dirty after my short-lived trip to DU!

Wasn’t that NY Times film critic Pauline Kael not knowing anyone who had voted for Nixon?

That’s what is so unnerving. I won’t even go over there today. They are convinced that Obama will win, hands down. However, we are just as convinced as they are, that Romney will win. I don’t think anyone is bluffing. America is divided and each side seems to have polls, opinions and evidence to support the notion that their guy will win.

However, only one candidate can win. It’s a very close race. If you map out the race, as I have—nine key toss ups will decide this thing. No one knows yet what will happen. WI, MI, IA, VA, FL, OH, CO, NH, PA and NV is where it’s at.

Bottom line—we stay positive, vote and volunteer today. Quit ruminating. And for Pete’s sake, stay off of Dem sites. Why do that to yourself? Drive someone to the polls. Make some calls. Turn your vote into ten votes by driving people to the polls who otherwise would not vote. Go Romney!

Well the Democrats are called DIM-rats for a reason.......You don't always realize you're sinking until you look around and realize that you are standing in quick sand.....

That's what's going on at DU....by 8:30pm tonight they're going to start panicing......

They’ll still be saying Obama won in Jan 2013 when Romney is sworn in.

Live in a bubble, die in a bubble.

As predictable as the sunrise..this ALWAYs happens...they lie, then believe their own lies, and then are genuinely shocked (as in 2010) when they are shellacked. Just make for delicious Schadenfruede with our coffee in the a.m.

I too, yesterday visited Democratic Underground. One of the rules of engagement is to KNOW YOUR ENEMY. I was saddened to think there is such polarity, and bile filled hatred, that politics has become EVERYTHING and they talk so much about their PRINCE, and so little about PRINCIPLES. Following charismatic political figures who are corrupt can get us into a heap of a mess. I DO HOPE THAT IF MITT ROMNEY WINS, THE FR CROWD CAN BE gracious, like teams after the Super Bowl, and shake hands with their opponents. I have prepared my mind, that whatever happens, it’s not worth burning down the American Institutions and throwing a hissy fit and acting infantile. May the man and the party with most class and grace be the winner of todays match.

In the social media, everyone is demanding that followers go vote.

Those on the right side of the aisle are all too willing to go without being told and those on the left side aren’t trying to encourage those on the right to show up.

Between the Democrats’ successful effort to get out the vote from illegal aliens and dead people, the voting machines that “self correct” to Obama, the Democrats bragging on Facebook and Twitter how they have voted multiple times, and all the other voter fraud, I will be surprised if Obama does not win.

Be afraid, be very afraid.
