Not sure how to characterize this, or where it belongs, but there's considerable scuttlebutt this morning over a new (and maybe scurrilous) website predicting a major October Surprise this weekend, Sunday evening, just before the next debate on Monday.

This deserves FReeper attention and discussion.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned, I just arrived on this thread.

I tried to go to OctSurprise.com and my AVG anti-virus throws up an alert saying it detected an “Exploit Script Injection Redirect (type 1487)”. Object was blocked.

Anyone know what’s up with this?

It was up earlier, looks like it got hacked to me.

Twitter account was fine earlier too, looks like that just disappeared.

My guess after looking at both the website and the twitter account was that the whole thing is a ruse or advertising campaign for something else.
