"The Big Broadcast is a Sunday night tradition for families throughout the WAMU listening area. Each week, Big Broadcast host Ed Walker offers listeners priceless recordings of popular radio programs from the '30s, '40s and '50s. Priceless, especially, for a man whose first sentence as a child was, 'Turn the radio on.' "

That station is one of my favorites!

Along those lines, here are two other stations I often listen to-

If you get the TuneIn Radio app, you can can listen and record any station for hours at a time!

I can't recommend it highly enough!

The 2 best things about technology is old time radio and Free Republic!

Hi Mary, thanks much for those. I already tuned my kitchen wifi radio into antioch and will definitely check these out too. It's fun how they correspond the current date to the date of previous shows.

Not yet, Doc. Right now, the air is oppressive, but not too hot. It’s because we have Pacific weather moving over us, under a tornado watch and some warnings.

We’re just in front of the red/yellow line, right on the beach.
