Dear Fellow Patriots,

We're pleased to invite you to join us for The Grand Old Picture Show, a complimentary afternoon of entertainment featuring a series of short films celebrating and exploring the issues that many of us hold dear: the free market, individual property rights, and the increasing burdens of government regulation. On Wednesday, August 29th Passing Lane Films and the Competitive Enterprise Institute welcome you to the Carol Morsani Hall at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Tampa for this special event. The complimentary reception begins at 3:00 and guests will enjoy wine, beer and passed hors d'oeuvres. The screening of short films begins at 4:00, followed by a panel discussion. Our distinguished panel includes Josh Gilder, former speech writer for President Ronald Reagan, Karen Moreau, President of the Foundation for Land and Liberty, Nicholas Tucker, director/producer for Passing Lane Films and Nicole Ciandella Screenwriter of I, Pencil and Media Coordinator for CEI. Drew Tidwell, President of Passing Lane Films, and Production Coordinator on I Am Legend, Eagle Eye and United 93 will moderate the event.

We hope you will join us Wednesday, August 29th from 3-6pm for The Grand Old Picture Show, a screening of films illustrating the value of individual liberty and property rights. We appreciate your support in sharing our invitation with your friends, customers and colleagues. Please feel free to contact us with any questions and we look forward to seeing you at the Straz!

Do you know who the advertised panellist are?
Seems to me that it would not be unheard of
for a 99er type bunch to liquor up a crowd
to blame for mayhem and take headlines
away from convention ???

I don't have the foggiest who the panelists are.....in fact the entire day's program seem to be filled up with nobodies and nothing-type doings of much interest sponsored by a group no one has ever heard of. Something free I wouldn't go to if I were paid.

In fact it sounds like one of those liberal white wine soirees held at art galleries in NYC if you get my drift. Maybe it's a lib RINO event. It's not only the Dims who will be up to all kinds of tricks around the city during the convention.
