I know this is going to get me in trouble, Vaquero. How many animals can you get into a pair of pantyhose?
10 little piggies
2 calves
1 a$$
and 1 beaver.
(believe it or not, I actually left out the really questionable parts of the joke)

Dutchess County health officials say a rabid beaver attack is unusual. No kidding.

Having been attacked by hundreds of beavers I can tell you it can be a frightening experience. The worst attacks take place in the dark when the beaver can catch unaware or unprepared. Best to have a stout timber or staff for subduing the beaver. Their hair can be luxurious and very wet at times. Plunging in after the beaver can be effective if you’re prepared to go all the way. However, sometimes beavers can be subdued by gentle stroking and whispering sweet nothings. Be careful. Once a beaver gets you in it’s grasp they seldom let go.

One Boy Scout pulled Brousseau to shore, where he tossed the beaver away from him. The Scouts then used rocks to kill the animal. But I wood not feel so all alone

The high school newspaper column I wrote in ‘65 got put on hiatus by the Vice Principal after I quoted a dictionary.
The Funk and Wagnalls defined a beaver as “a warm blooded, brown furred mammal with a wide flat broad muscular tail and nocturnal feeding habits.”
I claimed during the interview that followed publication to be broadening wildlife awareness.

She was 15 years old, going on 35, Doc, and she told me she was 18. She was very willing, if ya know what I mean. I practically had to take to sewing my pants shut. Between you and me, uh, she might have been 15, but when you get that little red beaver right up there in front of you, I don't think it's crazy at all and I don't think you do either. No man alive could resist that, and that's why I got into jail to begin with. And now they're telling me I'm crazy over here because I don't sit there like a g*dd*mn vegetable. Don't make a bit of sense to me. If that's what's being crazy is, then I'm senseless, out of it, gone-down-the-road, wacko. But no more, no less, that's it.

Wynona loved her big brown beaver
And she stroked him all the time.
She pricked her finger one day and it occurred to her
She might have a porcupine.
