I just saw this anti-gun commercial during the Olympics. Their point is that Obama and Romney both need a gun control plan because 48,000 Americans are murdered with guns every four years. If they can afford a commercial during the Olympics, I think it's time that conservatives noticed them.

Never let a crisis go to waste!
I’d recommend:
1. Mandatory firearms training starting in the sixth elementary grade through 12th grade; small bore rifle, handgun, large bore rifle, shotgun.
2. Mandatory purchase and maintenance of at least one firearm by every person in the US, above the age of majority
3. Mandatory, free semi-annual qualification ‘shoots’, under the auspices of local gun clubs, sporting clubs, etc.
Sounds like a plan, to me...
(1) Mandatory concealed or open-carry in all 50 states
(2) BAN "gun-free zones" in all 50 states.
(3) Waive 5-day Brady waiting period for women who obtain a restraining order.

More obvious hysteria to control us. Three times more people die in traffic accidents and the number ONE cause of death in this country is obesity-related disease. Yet we don't see massive rallies to control cars or donuts (at least not yet).
Also, what of the 2.5 MILLION Americans that defend themselves with guns every YEAR, of which nearly 400,000 say they would likely be dead if unarmed? Yes, Guns Kill, But How Often Are They Used in Self-Defense?
Idiots that support gun grabbing also idiotically think government employees (cops) will fight to the death for them. In fact, when there is serious danger to their own lives, cops usually do the opposite when they think no one is looking. Just look at LA, New Orleans, VA Tech, etc. Nobody will defend anyone as fervently as an armed person will defend themselves!
