I sure hope they are in before the Tampa and Charlotte conventions, let alone November, or it’s going to be really ugly. This place has needed a server upgrade for a number of years. Hardware has advanced a *lot* since the last one. Procs and SSDs make things a whole new ball game.

There have been a few threads on this in the last year or so, some with participation by the Big Guy. I hate to say it, because FR has been great, and I’ve been here a long time (and lurked for a long time before my sign up), but if a decent conservative political forum with proper threaded discussion software made an appearance, I would be likely to jump ship, simply because the UX here has become pretty unacceptable by 2012 standards. This isn’t the dial-up era any longer.

But I noticed about 6 months ago that the automatic deposits stopped.

The service was so crappy I did not go out of my way to call attention too it

Anyhow, now I have $10 a month extra in my pocket and FR is what it is.

I don’t wish to be zotted but I have to speak my mind.
