Watch out for the dog!

Good boy! Now, let me help you over the counter so you can get a really good grip! LOL!
Not real. Notice the time index on the video just happens to start at 0, the bad guy also puts his hand down when presenting the weapon and also appears to be wearing protective gear to keep his arm from being bitten off. Good dog though!
LOL. Got what he deserved.
Yep. It is a training scenario, the ‘perp’ has a on a hidden bite sleeve. In reality, the dog failed the test, as he didn’t maintain his grip. It was a pretty half-hearted bite attempt, IMO. A good dog would have drug him over the counter, or backed up and held him bent over it.
Good doggie!
Anyway, I give the dog an A+
What part of this planned training scenario involved throwing the dog over the counter at the perp?
In other words, I don’t believe you. You don’t toss a dog over a counter during training.
I don’t have an answer for why they threw the dog over the counter. There IS without a doubt a sleeve on the guy’s gun hand. I worked a dog on a bite sleeve last night, so I am pretty aware of what a hidden sleeve looks like.
By the way, the dog had a very poor grip. They should bite with a full mouth and hold. He wouldn’t have pulled away from my 11 mo old malinois like that. Just saying.
On repeated viewing I’ll agree with you it was some lame training attempt.
I didn’t catch it was a gun store. Pretty rare for criminals to hold up a gun store with all the armed clerks. So OK, I’ll buy it was a training attempt. A worthless one. The guy is an idiot to throw his dog over the counter. If he wants to train his dog to jump over the counter, he needs to get the dog trained to do that before training the dog to jump the counter in pursuit of a fleeing perp.
Guy is an idiot. That training will be worthless.
