Romania’s 20-Year Nightmare: Unraveling Socialized Health Care (our future if not repealed)
PJ Media ^ | 7-6-12 | Ion Mihai Pacepa

Posted on 07/07/2012 5:12:34 PM PDT by ak267

In my other life in Communist Romania, I managed a large intelligence organization that, among other tasks, was charged with keeping alive a nationalized health care system which in the end bankrupted the country and generated popular contempt. That system, very similar to the Affordable Health Care for America Act, was a bureaucratic nightmare. And it still is a nightmare in the former Soviet empire.

Do you happen to have photos of Russian/Romanian ambulances?
I was in Belarus about 1995. I wish I had photos of some of things I was, like their ambulances, and thought I should ever be sick and be transported in one of them!

In a lifetime of studying Marxism and specifically the tactics and operations of the comintern movement and the NKVD and KGB, I bet half of what I know today either came directly from Pacepa or was confirmed by him.

His book Red Horozons might be the single most important book of the 20th century. And I don’t say that lightly.

It’s great to read him on the matter of this dreadful Obamacare nightmare. If anyone does, Pacepa knows. And he does in ways few do.

It's all about CONTROL, not "health care."

I’ll have to read those books. I’ve read lots of articles by him, amazing life story and an incredible insight into the life behind the Iron curtain. Love reading his works.

I suggest everyone go on Amazon, buy a USED copy of this movie and send it to your congresscritter.....with “love”, of course.
(and, send one to your commie/liberal friends or relatives-—I have a sister who voted for Bath-House Barry and is close to being in her sixties...she went to Haahvaaard, but, she’s not too bright. It’ll make a great Labor Day gift!)

The title of the book is Red Horizons, sorry for my typo. It’s publication in the 1980s first opened the West’s eyes to just how devious and omnipresent Andropov’s KGB was as it subverted America and Europe via a remarkable list of “influence operations.”

The subsequent publication of the KGB archives (the Mitrokhin Files) after the Soviet Union fell confirmed every word Pacepa wrote while adding exponentially to what people like Pacepa and Solzhenitsyn had been saying all along.

Red Horizons is a thick, dense book, and it can be hard work to read it, but the stuff in it is just so eye-opening it’s worth all the late nights and tired eyes. Pacepa was supposed to be writing a book about how the KGB basically created anti-Americanism and subverted the US effort in Vietnam creating lie after lie after lie, but I don’t know
that it was ever published.

The man’s writings should be required reading for all Americans, so that we more broadly understand the incredible role the Soviets played in not just our past but our future too—and how their operations live on in perpetuity despite the fall of the bureaucracy that created them.
