Gallup - Americans See More Economic Harm Than Good in Health Law

TOPICS: Education; History
KEYWORDS: gallup; obamacare
Mitt Romney should work hard to lose the election in this circumstances, but his team of advisors can help him to reach this goal.

Sometimes it seems to me that if Mitt Romney will fire all his stuff and go to vacation cruise, we will have better chances to elect him. After all, people mostly vote not for Romney but against Obama in this particular election

Of that 20%, 17% probably think it will do more harm, because it “doesn’t go far enough” towards completely socializing all of medicine.

What else does this tell us - 80% of Democrats are stone cold morons?

80% of Democrats are already receiving social welfare and won't be forced to buy their own policies?

80% of democrats weren't looking for work anyway & so could care less when Obamacare destroys the economy?

That independent 19% “No Opinion” spooks me. That’s called not paying attention. Spaced out space cadets.

I am surprised that the number of Dems that considered the economics of Obamacare even reached the 20% level. Cost analysis is foreign to them. The Dem mindset is always focused exclusively on the benefits side of the ledger without regard to cost. That is why their politicians find them such an easy sell. There are no hard choices for the party of instant gratification.

All of the above and plus a lot more ... The good sign that was revealed by the Gallup poll is that even among dems appeared 20% of those who begin to realize how stupid they were in voting for LIC (Liar in Chief)

I would say most dems think it will hurt the economy but answered no because they really don’t care and may even want it to hurt the economy. Many would enjoy seeing some “fat cats” get it and don’t even understand that hurting the economy is not just hurting rich people but hurting themselves.

it doesn’t matter anyway because they are slaves to their idealogy that trumps facts or even their honest beliefs

Completely agree. Now we can see among dems about 40% [20% got it, and 18% are very close to the point) those who can be considered as promising audience for our messages.

Not only will it harm our economy it will shorten our lives and cause increased suffering in that reduced number of years.

As you can see it from the above post, 13% republicans say the Obamacare will help the economy and 8% do not have any clue yet.

In other words about 20% of the republicans do not share opinion of the majority of GOP in this regards.

Now please compare it with about 40% dems [20% + 18%] who do not share opinion of majority of their party in this regards.

Can You Feel the Difference?

Meaningless. They’ll vote Hussein. They think it should be MORE Socialistic. No chance they’ll vote Romney. None.

Negative, I cannot.

And the reason for that is the leadership of the GOP and the candidate has done nothing nor have they said anything that leads me to believe they even understand the magnitude of what has just happened.

As far as I can tell, they agree with Roberts and Obama.

Personally, I am at the point where I am going to say that the two parties exist only to help each other. The democrats cannot be elected without a whipping boy to demonize, thus the function of the GOP.

The GOP when it gets installed as a result of people disgust with the communist party, does NOTHING to turn anything back, and in fact, advances the ball past the end zone and into the next stadium.

They are all the same, and we have been played for fools.

I disagree, because there is not any symmetry between them.

It seems to me that this country will have some chances to survive the first term of Romney in WH, but I very doubt about the BHO's second term ...

I agree that electing Romney is the only chance, no doubt about that, it is the only viable, possible move.

However, the enemy also knows that it is the only viable possible move, and it knows exactly when that move will be made, and I have no doubt it has and is taking measures to ensure that move will be ineffective or worse.

In light of the extent of how damaging Roberts ruling was, the fact that the GOP and Romney not only display no outrage, they have said NOTHING. It isn’t because they don’t know what to say, it’s because they have nothing to say.

His saying it’s a tax...or a penalty...is meaningless theater. It is the MURDER of freedom. These guys aren’t that stupid, they are complicit.

None the less, we have no choice other than to do what must be done. I fear though that it will make no difference. The die has been cast.

I agree that Romney is a weak candidate, but you are right - "we have no choice other than to do what" we can do to make a difference ... because hope die last in any circumstances.
