How can Romney be on the wrong side of history on gay marriage, when Obama and Romney are on the same side on the issue?
I have a general question about all of this: If Gays were allowed to marry:
If people who are not married at all but just enjoy masturbating... Could they not make a case that they should be allowed to file their taxes as Married filing jointly in order to receive better tax deductions and exemptions, since the only thing that determines their tax status is their sexual preference?

We’re supposed to care because CNN makes a big deal of this. Romney should stay the course. If he waffles on gay marriage, the only beneficiary will be Obama. The gay marriage issue is working in Romney’s favor.

As for being on the wrong side of history, is homosexuality something new? Last I checked there are references to it throughout history. I’m not sure why Shep thinks an ancient practice seen in primitive societies and usually condemned has anything to do with moving into the 21st century. Same goes for bestiality.

I’m just interested in the pattern recognition...and I think ‘the war on women’ is about to be usurped by ‘on the wrong side of history’...and we’ll have a new phoney baloney slogan every few weeks, until the election.

That is, for him to simply say "Marriage is between one man and one woman but this election is really about Obama's failed economic policies."

William Bryan White Jr, Pointe Lookout, NY
...which looks fishy.
Now it gets more interesting...William B White (who is definitely the guy in story, since he is listed as president of the Intrepid Museum) gave a total of $6,900 to Hillary in 2008, and our William J White is also on the Hillary list, giving $6,900.

Its either a poorly written article, or somebody is trying to fool the reader...the article is surely about senior, since it lists his past financial support for candidates dating back as far as Reagan (Junior would have been 17 for Reagan’s first successful run)...and since he is the only Bill White contributor to Romney. Yet, it goes on to give the son’s impressive resume....ah...a ‘composite’.
I checked opensecrets back as far as it would go, and sure enough, junior gave $500 to Bush in 92 and $2,000 to the other Bush in 2003....and $$$ to Hillary in 2005. And senior gave to Hillary in 2006.

I thought maybe it was Betty White’s husband - she just loooooooooves BO. Could be the Bill White that was Mayor of Houston though - I thought he was older than 58. But he’s as Democrat as they come so seriously doubt if he would ever contribute to Romney. He’s too big a fan of BO.
