The left can't spin the embarrassing job numbers for March&April. The reality is Obama never stopped the bleeding. How can the left boast about "Obama Stopping The Bleeding"in mid 2009 when the debt&deficit kept rising? The Ohio 1/2 full event was the answer to Hope And Change. These next six months are going to be worse and/or very stagnant. Most small businesses are just going to sit it out until they see President Romney win in November. They should all put a sign in their windows"You Want A Job?,Vote For Romney".
Impossible, isn’t this the summer of recovery? Err, I guess that was last year. Or maybe the year before. I’ve lost track.
In reality I think the economy is just kind of treading water. Many people have taken advantage of dependency and are reasonable content to stay out of the workforce. The market goes up even with bad news because traders view it as a signal that more QE is on the way from the Fed. Looks to me like we will have sluggish to very moderate growth at least through the election, which means it will be very close because about 50% of the public either personally likes or still WANTS to like Obama.
After all, no president can control the implosion of the European economic sphere. Obama is just a victim of soicumstance. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.
The Food Stamp President has ordered the Bureau of Lies & Statistics (BLS) to immediately get to work on the May - Oct unemployment statistics. Unemployment is to be under the target 4% by Oct. Axelrod must sign off before any release of unemployment statistics in the future. The number of persons available for work will be reduced as necessary to make the percentages come in on target.
He’ll blame it on Europe.
My take on the unemployment issue...
Entrepreneurs are making individual decisions
to not risk Capital when they estimate a less that zero ROI
This will not change until the profoundly caustic regulatory milieu
is ramped back
Bingo.
Even if there is a shred of truth in it it’s a typical Obama duck.
shouldnt an incompetent, i mean incombent(however u spell it) be speaking of how bad things were when I took office 3 years ago in his rallies? whats he gonna talk about at all of his 1/2 empty/cricket audience rallies? what? we need to keep taxing the rich? anything else?
Of course! And let's not forget that the situation in Europe is Bush's fault! Why? Because 0 says it is...
In reality, of course, the situation in Europe is also largely attributable to 0's poor understanding of economic theory...
i wonder if bambi plans to spend another million of our tax dollars on marthas vinyard again, by august,we may be pushing a 16 Trillion dollar debt, you can see the headline already “16 Trillion Dollar Debt,Obama Heads To Martha’s Vinyard”. Yup, he is so concerned about the middle class.
Forward is the leftist for backward. Hope is leftist for despair. Change is leftist for loosing freedom.
“Hope is leftist for despair’’. < “He who lives on a diet of hope will die fasting’’.— Ben Franklin.
Delusional...
Mitt Romneys Dismal Record
"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."
