Just seeing if I'll get the zot. I can't stand mittens but I hate bamby worse. I'm a automatic withdrawal monthly donor (full disclosure - only 5 bucks because that's all I can afford).
Bamby has to go. If mittens is elected and does what we all expect he'll do (lie), it'll only strengthen us. We'll get rid of him too.
If it's the zot; then, oh well. No hard feelings towards Jim or fellow FReepers.
Kind Regards, Toadman
Tug on superman’s cape.
Yippie.
Jim has already said you can vote for whomever you want.
Just don’t ‘promote’ or ‘campaign’ for him here.
IBTZ ... and I agree.
Ditto here. ANYBODY but barry HUSSEIN obama
Not going to vote for an ineligible phony
who imposed DEATHCARE and then is proud about it.
NO TO RINOs.
NO TO DEATHCARE.
NO TO ROMNEY.
Why do you think you will get the boot? I tell anybody that will listen or can read that I will vote for Romney over Obama and I won’t lose a wink of sleep doing it.
I disagree with you. I'm voting ABL Anyone But Liberals.
/johnny
Not much of a choice...
A vote for the lesser of two evils is still a vote for evil.
No Wiilard vote. Ever.
Ditto Toadman...anyone but Obama!
Obama is too dangerous to allow another four years.
I didn’t vote for Reagan because he was too liberal for me. Same with Bush I, Dole, Bush II. I voted for McCain only when he added Palin and I figured there was a chance that he might croak. This time I’m voting for Romney if he’s the Republican nominee.
Yeah, right.
I don’t think there’s any danger of scum sucker Romney defeating scumbag Obama.
I’m too old for this stupid game of pretending that we’ll get a conservative candidate in 4 years. That’s just a scam to keep the slaves on the Grand Old Plantation. We have to make a stand at some point and I ain’t getting any younger.
I understand your position, and I have good conservative friends that agree with it.
I do not.
I think that voting for Obama amounts to great tactics but horrible strategy. I think that the gradual creeping liberalism within the Republican Party is a more certain and inexorable danger to our country in the long run that Obama is in the short run.
Who would you rather have in office? The Republican Mitt Romney or the Democrat Harry Truman? The Republican Mitt Romney or the Democrat John Kennedy?
One thing seems certain: The direction that things are going—accepting the lesser of the two evils—pledging our support for the Republican nominee regardless of whomever the GOP-e puts forward—will result in us having a Republican nominee in the not too distant future who will be even more liberal than Obama.
I will not vote for Mitt Romney.
It’s sufficient to say “Romney over 0bama.” That’s the choice. The “anybody” mantra is incredibly foolish sounding.
Vote out Lugar and Hatch and vote in Mitt...
the GOP will begin to get it if you do it that way as well.
We can survive 4 years of Romney. We cannot survive 4 more of Obama.
Yes, but how did that work for us with Perot in 92. By not voting for the lesser evil, the greater evil was elected with less than 50% of the popular vote.
That said, let's give Goode a look before giving up and voting ABO.
We can survive four years of either.
But we cannot survive an electorate that has no principles left, which is what votes for either man represent.
That is the sort of environment which opens the way to a Nazi Germany, or a Soviet Russia.
I am a conservative. But I’m a pragmatic conservative. Never Obama!
Romney is a shape shifter. He has no core values at all.
I’ve said that anyone chosen at random from the phone book would be better than the O and his mob of thieves, gangsters, and perverts.
I’ll vote against O.
Still, we need to be clear with ourselves who Romney is (and at FR, most of us are painfully clear). He will try to implement at least half of O’s agenda. Only an outraged rank and file will prevent him from giving away the store and bragging about it.
We need to hold the House and take back the senate or watch as Romney gives us O’s second term with a GOP label.
One of those two people will be POTUS.
One of those people will nominate the next supreme court justice.
On election day I will be making my vote count to fire eric holder.
Seems the Mutt is the only game in town. But keep this in mind. Who can survive in today’s instant communication society?
Can you imagine the forces lined up against him. This is going to be no cake walk and he’s willing to do it.
Screw the Presidents race. Focus on getting the congress critters out. The senate is most important.
Still can’t figure out how the Republican primaries are working out this way, but will campaign and vote for Governor Romney as the better choice on offer this time around, if he does get the R nomination.( May give us a little time to better understand the nominating process for the future, too. I think we need to do this. At least, I do. )
52,000 good men died in a war that LBJ had no intention of ever winning. Obama is cut from the same cloth and needs to be removed from office. Those men did not survive 4 years of that prick and neither did the urban family structure.
I respect and understand your opinion.
Whatever. Have fun. Enjoy the slide.
I guess that you just dislike Obambi more than other. 4 More YEARS!
If you thnk it will be mittens, and I do, the only thing to do is support truly conxervative House and Senate candidates. I got a call from RNC asking for contributions today. I told them I am only contributing to conservative candidates that I approve of and by myself. No misdirecting my money to RINOs or closet communists. No more Snowes, Collins, Lugar, McCain, etc. When they say “is not party more important than policy?” I answer, ask that to those who Hitler, Stalin and Mao killed, as I am sure they had some coward or greedy crossovers too.
None of which justifies a vote for Mitt Romney.
I'm voting for Romney.Assuming he wins we clearly must work hard to steer him in the right direction.
In the primaries are you talking about? If so, NEWT is on the ticket!!
I have come to the conclusion that I can do nothing about the selection of the republican presidential candidate. Or my state senator for that matter.
That said I can do something about my congressman and the money that I would have sent to the GOP. My money now goes direct if it goes at all.
I detest the GOP and Mit, but I will vote for the charlatan mit because I have no choice.
52,000 good men died in a war that LBJ had no intention of ever winning. Obama is cut from the same cloth and needs to be removed from office. Those men did not survive 4 years of that prick and neither did the urban family structure.
I will never vote for Romney ... say what you will, I will never vote for Romney. Condemn me and throw slings and arrows my way, I will never vote for Romney.
I have a conscience and standards. I will never vote for Romney.
If my “not” voting for Romney means the Obama wins, so be it. I will never vote for Romney.
Oh, by the way, I will never vote for Romney.
You get more Socialism with both candidates. Feel free to pee into the wind.
None of which justifies a vote for Mitt Romney.
I would rather be damned for something I have done.
So voting to get Obama out of office.
You speak for yourself. I speak for myself. I voted for Santorum. I lost. Such is life. But I will not in any way help this marxist bastard get 4 more years to wreak havoc on my country. What you do is up to you.
That sums it all up right there. This election is not about electing anyone. It's about firing people.
I feel ya’. The best case scenario at this point is control of the Senate and House with strong, tea party peeps that hold Romney’s feet to the fire.
Obama is too dangerous to allow another four years.
**
Then Tea Party folks need to plan on coming out and protesting Romney once HE gets into office and things don’t go their way. Seriously.
Because it will be the same deal, all over again.
But, at least Tea Partiers will be consistent, and perhaps all will see that they really weren’t protesting Obama because he was black ..er, I mean, white ..I mean, white black ...white hispanic . .I mean, muslim white black.
ABO!
Obama is too dangerous to allow another four years.
I agree.
I will vote for Romney if he ends up the nominee, but also support and work for anyone running for senate/House. this will be a hard working election ALL the way around.
