Jose Canseco: Global warming could have saved Titanic
Washington Free Beacon ^ | April 16, 2012 | Washington Free Beacon Staff

Posted on 04/16/2012 11:36:43 AM PDT by Free ThinkerNY

In a series of tweets over the weekend, Jose Canseco argued that had global warming existed 100 years ago, it could have saved the Titanic. “Because we don’t recycle and consume like crazy,” the former baseball player said, “icicles are non existent [sic].”

Last month, Canseco tweeted mistakenly about former Vice President Al Gore’s death, and called global warming skeptics “clowns” and “morons.” He also claimed that turning off the heat at night would “lower your body temp so u will live 20% longer.”

Radar would have also.

Or simply hitting the iceberg head-on.

Jose Canseco: Global warming could have saved Titanic

This is funny stuff. Global warming could have prevented the last ice age too. But then what would we be warming from? The whole theory would be in shambles.

Jose, if you stop breathing you can reduce your carbon footprint.

I'm glad I'm one of the "weird" ones without a tatoo.

Yep, that's Danny Bonaduce. ...Jose couldn't even knock him off his feet at this charity event.

I have heard that prolonged use of steroids will shrink the male genitalia. I guess that in Canseco’s case it also shrank his brain, which is probably located in the same place.

Jose Canseco. A complete F'ing fool.

The HBO series 'Eastbound And Down' just has to be developing at least some of it's scripts from the life of this wackjob: Drugs, gun charges, rampant steroid abuse, costly divorces, home forclosures, aggravated battery against former wives and fans, losing custody battles, house arrests, constantly on probation, and comically dreadful celebrity publicity stunts like losing boxing matches to Danny Bonaduce from TV's 'The Partridge Family'. Then, as the ultimate disgrace, being rejected by the Dodgers in a walk-on tryout where he would have earned the MLB league minimum salary ... he finally ends up being kicked out of the AAA Mexican baseball league for refusing to submit to drug tests.

Jose Canseco, thanks for all the comedy you've given us over the years.

Gee, Jose’s a regular cornucopia of fun things to know and tell.

Jose, can you see?

Canseco’s heavy use of steroids and the smorgasbord of social diseases likely captured from canoodling M. Louise Ciccone have reduced his brain cell count below the point where he can any longer be considered rational.

You have the right to remain silent!

And, Jose, you are most heartily encouraged to exercise it.

Global warming could have saved the Titanic.

Or perhaps not.

The years before 1912 were characterized by mild winters in Europe and possibly the northern Atlantic and it was speculated that the (relative) warm temperatures increased the melting rate and activity of the calving glaciers on Greenland.

I still contend that 4 German submarines pushed the iceberg into the Titanic`s course.
