I can tell that Freerepublic has started spiraling into hysteria similar to what I sensed around the 2008 election time.... I'll check back in in 2013 to see if things simmered down.

We don't have that luxury in these times. The dying MSM creates facts, and there can be no retribution for that because they are all rapidly going out of business. This is their last shot at power and they're using everything they've got!

I’d be curious to hear why you’re opting out. This is a tough time all round - economically, socially, civilizationally, etc.
