If KLIF is not making room for Huckabee from 11-2 than he'll be over in RUSH's time slot at WBAP soon. Thank you Dickey Bros. I hope you enjoy eating your own cooking 'cause it is going to stink in Dallas.
If WBAP cuts Rush, they will lose the majority of their listening audience. Seems there are a large number of news media outlets inflicting mortal wounds on their operations. It appears to me we no longer live in “the land of the free and home of the brave”.
I like Huckabee. But I won’t listen to him instead of Rush. Rush is brilliant.
I don’t have cable or a digital box on my TV. I use my TV to watch old movies. I am a radio guy. I listen to WBAP 4-6 hours a day. I can assure you that WBAP will be dead to me if they drop Rush.
About the only thing we watch on TV are old westerns and our library of movies. We listen to Rush and Mark Levin. That’s it. Used to listen to KLIF some but not in a couple of years. The people of this country have thrown away traditional values and freedoms for what they perceive to be security and gifts from their government. They are getting tyranny. What in the hell has happened?
I’m not following the Huckabee details...that said, what info is out there that causes a rational person to think WBAP would drop Rush for Huck?

If another station doesn’t, hasn’t, won’t...whatever...put Huck in the Rush timeslot, that translates to it’s going to cause WBAP to drop Rush and put Huck there?
That outcome is so crazy, I won’t believe that until it happens.
Sombody said that KMBZ in Kansas City was looking to dump Rush! If that happens then I bet he ends up at 710 KCMO.

Before you go assigning the Alinksy label on other people, how about some evidence that WBAP is dropping Rush.

Hey GS, I use several radio apps on my phone. If one has problems I switch to another. Maybe you can find a couple of additional apps and set them up so you can switch when your show drops. I have four lined up in order of variety and reliability. Good luck...

I’m asking a question based on media reports about changes that are being touted by Cumulus and the Dickey Brothers as they tout Huckabee. I’ll assign the Alinsky label when I see his tactics being used by those who would chose to post on this forum.
The talk all over the business is the Left is attempting to use Huckabee to take Rush out. It won’t work, but that’s the plan. The network running Huckabee is deliberately putting Huckabee toe-to-toe with Rush to dilute his influence and bring down his ratings. It shows who Huckabee really is that he’s allowing it.
