Cops: Accused Prostitute Offered Undercover Officer Sex For Cheeseburgers Off McDonald's Dollar Menu

The woman, the detective reported, replied that the pair “could go have sexual intercourse if I bought her two double cheese burgers off the dollar menu at McDonald’s.” The cop added, “I agreed to the deal and purchased the hamburgers for $2.75.”

Snake boots are all the rage in Milan.

I like snakes, but there are some overpopulation issues with Burmese pythons in Florida, for example. Kill ‘em and grill ‘em, and why waste the skins?

Mud is good. It protects you from sunburn and insect bites. Have you ever seen a sunburned, mosquito-bitten elephant?

“Kill ‘em and grill ‘em,...”

My thoughts exactly. However, there are some things that are apparently not good for you. For instance, in Travis McGee’s book, “Enemies Foreign and Domestic,” piranhas are supposed to be not-good-eating for some reason or another. However, my ethos prescribes eating what I kill, no exceptions. Can you understand why I have some trouble with that?

In a word (or a non-word), blech.

I am always completely out of step w/the FReepers on this thread. I was the kid who invariably laughed out loud at all the parts of the movie that nobody else laughed at which. (Which isn’t a preposition. You’re allowed to end a sentence w/which?) Conversely, are crickets a good thing?

"However, my ethos prescribes eating what I kill, no exceptions."

I'm inclined to kill mosquitoes as quickly and efficiently as I can. This often messes up the carcasses a bit.

Do you make a stew out of them then? Any special treatment for the wings? They don't seem very nutritional.

If it's any comfort, I saw Blazing Saddles the week it came out.

I was the only person in the whole theater who laughed when the Mel Brooks Indians rode up and started speaking.

Was I really the only person in a whole theater in Hollywood who recognized Yiddish???

I figure that if the carcasses are too smooshed and little to salvage for nutritional purposes, I’m off the hook. If you have any info for me re: stew and wing treatment, I’ll happily accept and try it.

You *are* a great comfort. I was the kid who thought I was soooo clueless. Then later on, I found out that the more sophisticated kids were pretending to know which end was up, and that I actually knew wewu because I asked lots of questions. The joke was on me! It’s OK. I still drive people crazy w/questions but I have a glimmer. I have confidence that you grasp much, much more than a glimmer, and I appreciate your FRiendship and all the valuable insights you provide!

The most sensible suggestion I can offer, as a means of making mosquitoes edible, is to process them through fish such as Tilapia.

And if you further process them through Plesiosaurs, you have probably gone somewhat too far.

You may be on to something, there. Mosquito soup:

I don't know about Plesiosaurs, but I did manage to locate this image of the elusive Terrierdactyl:

I've been given to understand however, that Terrierdactyls are more suited to processing oranges than mosquitoes, so I guess we're back to Tilapia.

Good morning! DP is enjoying the weekend in Myrtle Beach with Pat ;-). He texted this morning, and said they plan to go to the beach with his mother after church and be home around suppertime.

I’m trying to get the people presently at home to tell me what they want for supper, but it hasn’t worked yet.

Sloppy joe’s? Hamburger buns, cheese, couple pounds of ground beef, some ketchup, mustard and some chips and the meal is ready.

My kids love it, and I can live for three days on one pound of beef.

I had to call my ISP because all of a sudden, the wireless wasn’t working. So here I am, an hour later and still in the dark about what happened.

As for backup, it’s all on the external hardrive someone gave me...I think it has 986 MB of space, and with all I have put on there in data, including videos, photos and data, I’ve used not quite 2%. The PC Guru I know said the entire Library of Congress, less photos and other graphics, is contained on three of these. :o])

At any rate, I couldn’t function without that backup! I will muddle through until the 3rd, when I will go to Aaron’s and get a new one...for a zillion bucks!

I took The Stig out this morning, and though he wasn’t happy about being handled (glove, again) he was fairly content in the travel cage. We were out for about 30 minutes, but it was getting warm, so I decided to bring him in.

As soon as I can, I will get to the storage unit and get the extra cage. That way, when I want to leave town, no one has to mess with a cage full of food and bird. (Method to my madness!)

I found some frozen enchiladas (family-sized) at Walmart in Cabot, when last I visited my son, and they were excellent! I could have gotten two pans and they still would have disappeared!

If I could find a smaller package, I would keep some on hand.

I have two USB 8 Gig drives. They cost about ten bucks each.

There was a time, a few years ago, when memory was expensive.

You can get frozen burritos in individual or 6-packs. Pretty good if you add some cheese. I decided to make nachos with my piece of beef - cook it up in a pepper sauce in small chunks, and dish up some condiments. Should make DP happy, along with the Land Shark beer.

Rats, I forgot sour cream. I’ll have to send Bill to the Food Lion for some, when he gets home from work.

We don’t have another computer to spare. There’s one in the girls’ closet, but the fact that it’s still there suggests that about all it’s good for is making Steampunk day-cor accessories.

However, I have a new Monkey Face Travel Fund started, with a goal of getting you a *direct flight* after Easter next year. Weather should be getting nice, Kathleen will be walking ... maybe we can all go to the sailing club, and you and I can fan ourselves in the shade while the others do boaty-type-things.

Uh-huh. I have a 16K memory expansion for my VIC-20.

Her storage device may be just under one Terabite. Maybe 800 Megabytes.

But if it's 8Kb, it time-traveled to get to her.

I wouldn’t mind being on the water again...I WAS married to a sailor a while ago! But we can have some awesome down time, for sure! And don’t forget...the first five years of my life were spent on an island!

As long as I have some beer at off-moments outside and some vino when the going is serious, I can hang in with the best of the Best! It will be so fun! Thank you so much, TC!!!
