Thank you, Kitty. That rose is gorgeous!
I just had one of those nasty bugs that hang around for 3 or 4 days and then it takes another day or two to get your strength back. I should start a diet today ... I would have a great start. :)
Have a delightful Monday!

These daffodils and ranunculas are from 2008. I have lost several of the ranunculas. These may be single instead of double.
I had not heard of these flowers until about 25 years ago.
Jaycee, You will have freepmail in a few minutes.

Thank you, Gypsy. I’m sure it was just one of those flu bugs.
This was the first time in five years that one has put me down for more than a couple of days.
Hope you are having a Marvelous Monday.

Yes, the Creator has given us another Marvelous Monday. Went to local high school FFA plant sale. Those beautiful young people made my heart sing!
Sweet dreams!

Once or twice a year, we go to the Farmer’s Market at Fresno State. Their fresh fruit and vegetables are wonderful. Also, they started making and selling Fresno State brand olive oil a couple of years ago.
My heart sings for their home-made ice cream.

I’m glad you’re feeling better Amy, you’re probably still weak from all that. My son came to visit all weekend and I enjoyed that.
Love your image, saved it but had a hard time deciding on what to name it, lol!! Take care.

Do you think they may be popular in other parts of the country and not in Tennessee?
That could be, although Come to Think of it,
I Think I Ordered them as Bulbs from a Catalog.
The Bulbs were Unique Looking, Very Unusual in Appearance.
But they Made the Most Beautiful Flowers.

I sure do thank you for this information about those pretty
flowers. Maybe I’ll look in some catalogs. I used to get a
lot of those magazines in the mail but not so much anymore. Probably if you don’t order regularly, they drop you. But I
will keep my eye out (if I ever go look at flowers again.) I
sure hope to go! I won’t have but several plants in about 4 large pots. I don’t want many to water and take care of
anymore, if you know what I’m talking about!!
Thanks for the info, dear Kitty. ((((HUGS))))

I Think I'll Check there Soon and See if they have Any.

Cutting A Trail
April 24, 2012
The Native Americans of Michigan were the states first highway route engineers. With few exceptions, Michigans major highways follow the trails they cut through the wilderness hundreds of years before the white man came. A trail was 12-18 inches wide, and for safety the people followed single file. Then pack horses followed these trails, widening them. Later came wagons, and the trails became dirt roads and then highways.
In a similar way, Solomon followed the trail of his father and in turn paved the way for his sons and grandsons. He did this by encouraging his sons to heed his instructions just as he had followed the sound teaching of his father (Prov. 4:4-5). So this father, giving his sons good practical and spiritual counsel, was passing on what he had learned from the boys grandfather, David, who was called a man after [Gods] own heart (1 Sam. 13:14; Acts 13:22). The younger generation of believers often learns best about God from the family.
Our physical and spiritual children watch the path were taking. As Gods men and women, lets make certain we cut a righteous, wise, and clear trail. Then if ongoing generations choose to follow, the trail can become a highwayan ongoing legacy to Gods glory.
Lord, as I walk my path of life,
Help my feet step straight and true;
That those who follow after me,
Will be tracking straight with You. Egner
When we follow God, we blaze a trail
for those who would follow.

Thank you for this great site! I bookmarked quickly and am going to try to find some of those. I did read if you planted them in the spring, they would bloom late summer. Guess its better to put the bulbs in the pots or wherever in the fall as I was reading so they’ll be ready to bloom in the spring!
Thanks much!!

How do the children learn of whom they are?
what is their history?
What struggles have their ancestors experienced?
What worked and was a benefit to people?
What caused pain, problems, pathetic circumstances?
Before we are able to discern for our self the foundation of how and what we believe, think, and use to guide our life by ... ongoing ... is already laid.
We do know traumatic experience can haunt us with anxiety, fear, worry, and angst, hampering our lives.
How do we know about God? Whom was it teaching us? The Government? Our parents, the schools?
The greatest story ever told, changes hearts, minds and the future of believers in Jesus Christ our redeemer, our savior, our deliverer,

Lovely, teenie. I’m so glad to “see” you!
I am cleaning the refrigerator..shelf by shelf..It’s taking two days and I have yet to do the freezer.
I had to use tunnel vision to start this project so I would not see ALL that needs doing..LOL
I’m grateful there were no big spills to clean up in fridge..
I just poured bird seed in feeder and mostly hit the counter and floor..Oh my!
