Another Vacation?!!! Has there ever been a first family that has gone on as many vacations as this one?!! Haven’t they ever heard of stay-cations, which is what the majority of Americans are doing more and more.

How much did this family travel before they hit the White House jackpot?

I’m in Las Vegas as I type and I heard something very interesting from a Metro police officer who is very well connected yesterday. I asked him about this upcoming trip and he told me that the last time President Obama came out to Las Vegas, to go visit the solar farm out by Boulder City, the Clark County Sheriff told Secret Service he could not afford the overtime for staffing the enormous effort to supplement the security detail, traffic enforcement and shutting down the Strip. He asked that the President fly in Nellis Air Force Base and take a chopper out to Boulder City instead of snarling traffic on the Strip and shutting down McCarran Intl. Airport for hours. He was told that it would appear too “military” if the President did that. Sadly he didn’t have the cojones to actually not staff it...

I’m in Las Vegas as I type and I heard something very interesting from a Metro police officer who is very well connected yesterday. I asked him about this upcoming trip and he told me that the last time President Obama came out I was encouraged when I read this:

“...the Clark County Sheriff told Secret Service he could not afford the overtime for staffing the enormous effort to supplement the security detail, traffic enforcement and shutting down the Strip.”

Imagine that, fiscal responsibiity from a government office.

But then I read this:

Sadly he didn’t have the cojones to actually not staff it...

Which indicates business as usual-pass the extraordinary payroll fat onto the unrepresented taxpayer.

Dear Taxpayers;
We are having a wonderful time here in Las Vegas! Michelle bought an “I’M WITH STUPID” t-shirt. The girls went to Circus Circus but were soon bored because they said the clowns reminded them of the Democrat convention. I like the fountain show at the Bellagio, but it made me have to pee so I hit Harry Reid’s shoe. Harry had already peed on his own shoe, so I didn’t think it would matter. Wish you were here! Bo, the President’s dog.

All joking aside, there is no reason to bring young children to Las Vegas. The Casino Industry decided about 5 years ago that the idea to sell Las Vegas as a family destination was not working. Las Vegas was built on Booze Boobs and Betting, and that is the theme we have returned to.Nothing for Kids.

Las Vegas was built on boobs? That’s what I call a solid foundation.

The 2009 quote from Baraq would make a nifty campaign commercial..

Remember back in 2010 when Obama told people not to go to Las Vegas. Seems this might get to be a great campaign issue for the king Obama. Here is a link to a 2010 story.
