The pictures of Martin in the press, were supposedly several years old. He was actually 6ft 4 and a football player, very awesome in appearance. In addition some articles indicated that Zimmerman was facially bloody with grass stains on the back of his shirt, which indicates Martin was beating on him when he was on the ground.
The press isn't going to be happy until Zimmerman is murdered. Spike Lee, Farrakan, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the New Black Panther Party, and Obama are trying to stir up race riots.
Isn’t going to matter. They’re going to crucify this poor stupid SOB no matter what actually happened. The race baiters and the hysterical anti-white (and I know Zimmerman isn’t) animosity they’re whipping up will demand. Craven authorities and politicians will acquiesce.

He may actually deserve prison, I don’t know. The only version of events we have, supported by the evidence, suggests he was maliciously attacked and fired in justifiable self defense. The police version my contradict that version but until then it’s all we have.

The issue in this sad story that makes me mad, is how everyone is jumping the gun so to speak before all the facts are viewed. I honestly do not know what really happened and who is at fault. I do know though that the left has concluded that Zimmerman is guilty, period. The biggest offender is Our President who stated the we need to do “soul searching”..............
For what, is he drawing a conclusion before knowing all the facts. Will this lead to another “beer summit” moment.
Both sides need to let this play out and let all the facts come out before making statements and protesting in the streets.
So what you could be saying is critical race theory will trump the rule of law?

We know there was a physical fight. Which of the two was “the attacker” is not known. It appears that at the time the gun went off the shootee was on top and probably winning the fight.
This is not inherently inconsistent with him defending himself from an attack by Zimmerman, or at least believing he was defending himself.
I don’t KNOW what happened, and neither does anybody but Zimmerman, and his recollections are inevitably colored by emotion, etc.
What does seem pretty clear is that the ancient common law rule of “duty to retreat” had a good common sense basis behind it. Two guys get in a fight, and one is killed.
Such fights do not always lend themselves to classifying one guy as the attacker and the other as the victim. Sometimes two guys are both at fault. The law should not allow for whichever person survives to claim self-defense. Both can be guilty of attempted murder, with one succeeding.
Please note I do not know this is what happened here. Only that ancient common law principles evolved for a reason.

The whole things contains as much hyperbole as one which claims Zimmerman was a cross between a knight of the KKK and Batman.
And for the “insider” who answered - Zimmerman didn’t call 911 to report a suspicious person; he called dispatch.
Is it possible that maybe, just maybe, those are the same white and red sneakers he was wearing the night he got shot?

It's gated in the sense that it is private property marked with signs, a low wall around the boundary and a security gate across the entrances. Whether the gates were kept closed at all times, just at night, or even maintained at all is another question.
The young man was allegedly wearing red shoes when he was shot and he is wearing read shoes in the picture so that must mean the picture is a recent one? Wow that is an amazing bit of deductive logic you have demonstrated there.
You think Zimmerman had a duty to attempt to dig an escape hole, as he was on the ground getting his face smashed in?
And the press posse wants to hang the survivor without getting to the fact. Fox New is reporting that there is a contemporaneous statement by an eyewitness who said Zimmerman was on the ground with Martin on top; also it is reported that Zimmerman had a broken nose.
The problem is that the MSM is NOT trying to report both sides of the proffered information and they are locking themselves into a locked position as they did with the Jena Six. There is a lot to come out yet, but MSM is deliberately sowing racial hate.
