Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona is bound and determined to make sure we never forget the embarrassment of the birther movement. Most of us would love to put that ugly little racist blip in our history -- a time when conspiracy theorists and fools alike accused President Barack Obama of not being American. But Arpaio, a sheriff in Phoenix, Arizona, just won't give it up.
Can we say beating a dead horse, people? Sometimes it seems like certain politicians just do things to help out Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, and Bill Maher. After all, how else does anyone explain Arpaio's inane and insane assertion that Obama, a man who produced his birth certificate last year, isn't American?

"Forgery or fraud may have been committed," says Arpaio. Ooooh no! Are ghosts and goblins real, too, Sheriff Arpaio? How about the Loch Ness Monster? Do you go visit old Nessie on your days off from enforcing the laws of Arizona?
In all seriousness, this is vile racism plain and simple. In a place like Arizona, it's no surprise -- after all, many politicians there (including Arpaio) hold rather Draconian views on immigration -- and it's disgusting. And it's getting old fast.
For all you doubters for whom book learning was apparently a challenge, here are the facts: President Barack Obama was born in Honolulu on August 4, 1961. He has produced both a certificate of live birth during the 2008 campaign and the long-form certificate last year. Neither has been disproved.
So why is this still going on? Arpaio seems like a joke, but, according to Obama campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt, Republican Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney doesn't think so. Yesterday LaBolt tweeted:
Romney has called Arpaio for his endorsement, his aides called "weekly" and Arpaio was his honorary Chair in 08.That's embarrassing. The fact is, most people agree Arpaio is a few cards shy of a full deck, but here we are still talking about him. Is this an alternate universe? Why am I guessing this guy is the type of person who stays at parties hours after they have ended asking for more chips and guacamole? Dude, the party is over, the ship has sailed, and you are beating a dead horse.
Sadly, there aren't enough cliched ways to say IT'S OVER to make it any clearer to this guy.

I tend to believe my wife’s idea that the BC lists him as “White”.
You can say what you will but prove the Sheriff wrong, don’t just say it’s over.....prove it.
Sasha’s got to explain to us how the demonstration of how the birth certificate presented by the White House created the document, is racist. I can probably demonstrate by her words that she is stupid. Or how appropriate is it for me to say, “I can probably demonstrate by her Jewish words, that she is stupid.”

Whether or not Obama is a citizen by birth is only part of the question. The other part is the authenticity of the birth certificate that has been presented. Some people who say they are experts have examined it and have concluded that the document is a fraud. So I just want to know if Sasha Brown-Worsham can prove that it is authentic.
I think this article was written just to get the “right-wing” contrabirthers to turn on Joe.

Au contraire. Many of us would love to see an American POTUS of authentic black roots - such as Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Herman Cain, Walter Williams, JC Watts, Allen West and Alan Keyes. All true patriots of conscience and conservatism - not divisiveness.

Mulitiple people who are certified document examiners have examined it for the posse and concluded it is a fraud. One of the things the posse was able to do was deal directly with real live people, determine their qualifications, see their evidence, and analyze all of that according to legal evidentiary standards. Using legal evidentiary standards, the long-form BC and draft registration were both found to be forgeries.
Whoever wrote this article is too hysterical to even see straight, much less analyze details according to legal standards. That’s why we have professionals do this kind of stuff.
Are you suggesting that Constitution is comically insane? Because the entire “birther” issue is about whether, according to the Constitution of the United States of America, the man sitting in the White House has a right to sit there. There’s nothing “insane” about that, and it’s not funny either. This country is being run by a fraud.

What’s “comically insane” is the fact that the President cannot/will not release his original birth certificate to the public.

However, speaking only for myself: I DO think that Obama has presented a fraudulent history of himself, on several levels.
I DO think the birth certificate issue is important, because Obama and company have presented so much conflicting information on this matter.
In fact, I think it is very possible that Obama's Mother was not sure of paternity, at the time of Obama's birth. I DO believe that location of birth is important, the most important, maybe the ONLY important issue in this case.
I believe that proving Obama has been dishonest, on several levels, will help us defeat Obama in November.
I do not believe that we can remove Obama from office for any of his lies, thus far.

The above shows the author has NO clue what she is talking about and negates everything else claimed. Obama did NOT produce a "certificate of live birth", which IS the long form. His minions published a non-official "certification of live birth". Those were the exact words on that first document, and had so many discrepancies, that all but the most naive knew it to be a fraud.
Again, "certification", which according to Hawaii law, anyone could apply for and only states a person was born, according to the info provided by the applicant. I won't bother to get into the apparently fraudulent long form, as the recent findings by document experts believe it to be. Stupid is as stupid does.
