Good morning! It is a new month and a new thread! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Fourth of July, celebrating the founding of these United States, a glorious experiment in world government.

The National March by Sousa, conducted by Bernstein

May God bless America again.

A doctor needs to hear that sometimes, because those types of complaints don’t usually make it through to the doctor. Your plan is best.

Often, I pass on to the others what is happening with you. I’m not a very good “updater”. When illstillbe was posting here, she would sometimes provide a great synopsis of various doings for someone who had been absent.

Denco comes through here and posts, but things have changed overall. Sigh.

Hi everyone, checking in before Itopple off to bed. Things here are so bad, the watertable is dropping so windmills just not able to keep up. We are hauling water everyday, but the heat is awful. I feel so sorry for the cows. They are still milking, but is taking its toll on them At this time the calves should be 100 lbs heavier. Heartbreaking! Pray for rain for us. News & Obamamobama gets on my nerves so bad that I have been leaving house real early and so dang tired at night. Sweet dreams to all Denco

Good morning! I hope you slept well and I pray rain, a good soaking rain, comes soon. It must be an awful, helpless feeling to see those poor calves waiting on water.

Good morning to all. I am very happy with the amount of rain we have had in the recent week or two. Things are green and growing here! Yay! Very different from this time last year. Denco, I wish I could send you some of this. My prayers go out to you all.

I’m still here, but missed your post from yesterday. Am I off the ping list?

Toby, my Dr is by first name too. He’s a nice “kid” and very good at what he does.

I understand the Russians will now be ferrying our Astronauts into space, now that the muslim has closed our program. How much are the Russians charging us?

No, you’re not off the list. I don’t think I pinged the list except when I first started the thread. But maybe I’ve forgotten to ping the list entirely. Ooopsie!

Truth be told, I’ve been under a lot of stress lately. So much so that I went to a doc-in-the-box earlier this week. I wasn’t having a heart attack but a panic attack. He gave me some Xanax and phenergan. I’m doing better; I’ve slept through the night the last three nights. I think I’ll be able to make it tonight w/o meds. I’m sorry I forgot you. I didn’t really. I just forgot everybody.

Isn't that irritating?

I am surprised .... the remainder redacted because the thought was immoral, illegal, and just plain not nice!

Good morning you 2.

I don't know how much the Russkies will charge us. Here's the scoop on the shuttle program shut down. Actually, it was W that closed the shuttle program, BUT, he made it contingent on the completion of the space station. There was also another teensie-weensie reason for W to begin the retirement of the shuttle program.

That teensie-weensie reason was his initiation of the Constellation Program, which was for the development of a new spacecraft to ferry up to 7 astronauts to the space station (by 2013), the moon (by 2019) and long term goal to Mars (~2040).

W envisioned a permanent base on the moon where the large spacecraft would be assembled and launched under lunar gravity (1/6 of Earth; no atmospheric resistance) to Mars. Since water ice has been discovered on Mars in large quantities, we could grow things. I was working on the service module which was being designed for a lunar mission.

In February, 2010, the muslim canceled the entire Constellation Program. This was for the Orion capsule and all the launch vehicles. The young people on Orion that were new hires that stupidly and foolishly voted for this monster were in total bewilderment and received an abrupt wake-up call.

There was such an outcry from the congressional members of aerospace states that the muslim was forced to allow funding for the Orion capsule, but only to be used for a 'lifeboat' at the space station to rescue astronauts and cosmonauts in an emergency evacuation.

Fortunately, there was still enough pressure to force the muslim to allow Orion to ferry astronauts to and from the space station, but no farther.

Then the muslim got the brilliant idea to land on an asteroid instead of the moon, and funding was increased to allow 'deep space' Orion development. That has since gone by the wayside.

We are currently testing the first Orion test unit.

People ask me why would we want to go to Mars? Every time I hear this question, my answer is always, "I would rather live under a bubble on Mars in freedom than on Earth under the muslim's tyranny.

One beautiful thing about the end of the shuttle program. W cancelled it but when it actually ended, It happened on the muslim's 'watch'! The muslim is going to get the blame!

Good morning! Toby, I hope you're getting some of this wonderful rain. When does Allie get back from camp?

Thanks, 2/3rds. I appreciate you giving us this history. We have known that the shuttle program was a limited program, as are all things. But Caligula has shut it down with no concrete plans for future space exploration in the works. Orion has been cut back, as you note (did I understand that correctly?), so much that it isn't on the cutting edge of exploration. There is no good reason for this at all. And to deliberately cut off a great government program, one of the few that are great, is beyond the pale. This debacle is hung around Caligula's neck and will remain there until the end of time.

Yes, you understand that correctly. Orion has been cut back, but fortunately, it lives on despite Caligula's efforts to destroy the greatest and most magnificent human space exploration program in history. Since he tried to destroy the human space exploration program, he does deserve the blame for ending the shuttle program as well as being dependent on the Russians for our manned access to space for an extended period of time, instead of the short time it would have been had Caligula not thrown a monkey wrench into it and delayed it much further. If I recall, we were going to have access to the space station via Orion as early as 2013, but now it is 2016 or later.

There are going to be a number of debacles and transgressions that will be hung on the illegal alien who infests the White House until the end of time. Besides this one, another one I very clearly recall is his commission of infanticide of natural born American citizens during his stay in the Illinois state senate as attested to by nurse Jill Stanek.
