Good morning! It is a new month and a new thread! I hope everyone had an enjoyable Fourth of July, celebrating the founding of these United States, a glorious experiment in world government.

The National March by Sousa, conducted by Bernstein
May God bless America again.
Christmas decorating is swimmingly into place. 2 trees up, no.3 going up in a bit. We’ve been away for a couple of days, but now were back. Both doors have their Christmas halos in place.
I need some help from on high, so if y’all would put a good word for me during prayers I’d appreciate it. We’ve run into a snag for the community garden. Seems someone is dragging their feet oking the transfer of title to our little town. Oh, and a bit more rain too. Thank you.
This is so strange, when I click on this ping, dated 12/12, it just goes to July 5th and won’t allow me to read any further than that! What am I doing wrong :-)
OK - now I clicked on my own answer and can back read. But, I used to be able to just go to my FR icon and see current postings. Help :-)
bev, all I’ve done is left click and the shortcut comes up, and I click onto that. I’ve had no trouble getting onto FR.
Have you tried that?
your computer is haunted Bev... easy answer...
Hi all. Milder weather this week for which I am VERY grateful. Dogs & kitties doing okay
Been reading the Twilight series.. last book on reserve at library.. Probably a long wait as I am 15th on list. Also re-watching the DVDs along the way. Not terribly intellectual, but fun
Deciding how much I will be decorating.. if at all. Wont be having company & right now the extra work is not appealing. Maybe some twinkle lights around the window & my little LED tree (about 3 ‘ tall)
We had 2 days of much much needed glorious rain here over the weekend. Could use more, but everybody is praying prayers of thanksgiving for the beautiful rain.
I think your rain moved northward. We’ve had a couple of good rain days. It thundered and we had a nice lightening display last evening. We’re supposed to get more rain today. I sure hope so.
BBL, my girlfriend and I are going for our yearly Christmas lunch and some last minute shoppine.
I have to work 2 more hours and then I have off until January !!!
HO, HO, HO, How wonderful is that? Have a Merry Christmas with your family and grandchild.
Merry Christmas my dear. It looks like you will be receiving some snow for Christmas. You’re still in Oregon?
I we’ll be getting some rain and wind today, maybe tomorrow and on Christmas our temps will be around 34 degrees in the morning and move up to 42 degrees later on. YIPPEEa, we’ll have a fire in the fireplace. It will feel like Christmas.
Busy as usual this time of year but grateful to be fit and healthy and happy. Hugs, Bev
Out there in OR you have one of the Nat’l Parks on my to-do list.
Out there in OR you have one of the Nat’l Parks on my to-do list.
Merry Christmas, Bev.
I think we’ll be passing your area next summer. We’re planning a family reunion in Everett, WA. We’ll be driving, as I will not put up with all the fall-de-raw from the TSA.
Ping. Here it is, gardner!
Hi Lysie,
Thanks for your help.
Gardner
You are welcome.
Thank you for helping her. How are you gardner? Is your green house busy with spings seedlings?
You are welcome.
Family is coming over. We will open presents, eat lots of food, drink, and watch football. Maybe play some Rummy too.
Early Mass of course...

Coming up for air,,, and popping in to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas.
I am SICK, SICK, SICK of radio/TV/mail regarding the Iowa Caucuses. Hope to finish Christmas preps tomorrow.
May the Blessings of Christmas shine on each of you, your family and friends.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Yes! Sad, but true.
On the fun side, my conservative nephew and his conservative expectant wife arrive today to inject some sanity into my world until I leave Christmas late afternoon. He even brought up the name Frank Marshall Davis once so he knows his stuff.
On another note, I'm begging Ohio GOP'ers to primary Boehner.
Hi Tillacum,
It is a little too early for seedlings, we have moved back up north. I do have quite a few seed catalogs.
Snoooorrrt!! LOL!
Good morning everybody, thanks for the ping lysie.
Merry Christmas to all of you at ATRW. I have followed all the happenings in your lives over the years and seem to know you all.
Sadly, my husband passed away December 8 of this year from a long heart illness. The past year had been very bad for him so in spite of my sadness at losing him here on earth, I am glad he is resting in peace.
Mary
Mary, I’m so sorry. May family and friends surround you with their love.
Christmas Blessing to all at ATRW!
I’m so sorry to hear of your husband’s passing. Wishing you peace this Christmas Season.
Merry Christmas to you, Geee!!
You have probably been a busy cookie these past weeks with all the fall-de-rahw campaigning and important news people.
Fall back dearheart enjoy Christ’s birth, your grandchildren and hubby for the next few days. Have you received some of that white fluffy stuff yet? We’re just a little cool in central Texas.
What are those things, they look like snakes?????
Merry Christmas 2/3s. Stay warm.
I’ve received a couple. We’re enlarging our garden in the pasture this coming year and “re-doing” the raised gardrns.
Oh Mary, I’m so sorry to hear that, but he is at peace now, and you’ll meet him on the other side. Prayers for your during these coming days. LUV LUV & HUGS
Only a few flakes of snow, here and there, a week or so ago. It will definitely be a brown Christmas here in Iowa. But I shant complain,,,. I am lucky that my kids only have to drive 18 miles to get to my house,, other familes aren’t so lucky. I want dry roads for all those young families to travel on to get to their Granny’s house.
Deepest condolensces to you and yours. May God’s comfort and presence be deeply felt during this time of sadness for you.
Merry Christmas to my favorite internet thread.
Christmas Blessings to all of my ATRW friends.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Merry Christmas lysie and all. We are having a good time visiting with daughter. We went to the new 3-D movie “Hugo” and last night attended Christmas Eve services.
Today a wonderful brunch at her home with games and presents, perhaps a movie, and after a bit of afternoon napping, a beautiful dinner at one of the area fancy hotels.
Tomorrow and Tuesday some shopping and errands. Life is good.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE. Today will be His day as it’s His Birthday. We’re having a few friends over to share this great day with feasting and football. Church first though.
Oh. Thank you. I thought those were snake skeletons. My thoughts of congresscritters, I guess.
Oh! Yes, till, those just as easily have been snake skeletons describing the Republican ‘leadership’ (...ahem...Boehner...ahem..). What a total sell out LOSER. Boehner, you are a LOSER! I wish Ohio would primary you right out of office. You are such a shame! LOSER!
We REALLY need to get some strong conservative Republicans in DC. The ones we have there now are either too new, or too long. Those there more than 2 C terms or 1 S term are there too long and have become corrupted by their “forever” staff who walk on both sides of the street at once, depending which side of the aisle their former boss sits on. I really did think those were snake skeletons. LOL..you’right, they could be boehner and mcconnell. Too long in one place makes one complacent.
Happy New Year 2/3s and may it be successful and interesting.
Also, a very disturbing thing is that the Iowa caucus is open to all so the CRAT will be voting for Rupaul and other less desireables to throw everything out of kilter. I wish we could destroy the CRAT party instead of letting it rule over us.
