FORT MYERS, Fla. – Authorities in southwest Florida say a 17-year-old girl pointed a gun at her mother, pistol-whipped her and forced her to drive to a dealership to buy her a used car.
The sheriff's office in Lee County said Monday that the teen has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, among other counts, and was being held at a juvenile detention center. The Associated Press doesn't identify minors charged with juvenile crimes.
According to officials, the mother said she didn't want to press charges because her daughter had been accepted to several Ivy League schools.

This is strange. This local article identifies the perpetrator but not the victim, the mother! The child had drugs and the gun in her pocket book. Arrested though the mom did not press charges. She ruined her own life.
How much did the kid get paid to pistol-whip the mom? Enough to buy a car, I guess.
Hopefullly, the State will transfer her case to adult court. At any rate, she will be heard from again. But by then, there will be a good number less of people in the world. Before she reaches 25 years of age, this girl will have killed one or more people./,p> My advice would be to stay the hell away from her. Sounds to me like an over-achiever who crashed and burned and probably blamed her mother for pushing her too much.
The girl looks like she’s probably from a Filipino family, and they are as focused as any Asian family on having children who excel at everything. This is not a bad thing in itself, but too much pressure can definitely bring on overload in some kids, with seriously bad results...usually, suicide.
I think this brainy little thug has a future in the democratic party. An Ivy league degree later - who knows, she could work for the White House.
She looks Asian. Apparently Asians do well enough on their own, despite being a historically persecuted minority, so they don't get affirmative action benefits.

This speaks well of some with an Ivy League education. So what if the attacker was accepted to SEVERAL Ivy League schools, she’s still nuts.

From the time I’ve spent in Fort Myers and Lee County, this story really doesn’t shock me at all.
I agree. But judging by her face, she looks more like she’s seriously flipped out rather than a stone killer. She doesn’t have the arrogant look that most true psycho killers have.
In either case, I hope they keep her under close supervision.

Yes, she does have that arrogant look - look closely at her mouth. It hints of a slight smirk. This kid is whacked.
There was some Asian girl a while back who was a brilliant child, talented classical pianist, and an eventual member of Mensa, but she was pushed so hard by her parents that she ran away as a teen and ended up doing porn.
