But would Red Sox fans root for the Yankees as the AL
representative in a World Series?
Sorry, I don’t do baseball, but yes!
We’ll load up on snacks as well, but a good ‘victory’ dinner as well :>)
A couple bourbons will also go well. And before the game, we’ll be watching the PGA down in Phoenix at the stadium course. Life is sweet...
Maybe they could play my new favorite song!
The Packers are gonna melt some Steel! Better have your crying towel handy!
I think my husband’s been watching that. Beautiful course. I hate when football season is over.
That 16th par 3 at the Stadium Course (which is where this tournament is being played) is worth all the time spent watching this tournament. I don’t know how the players can handle the crowd noise, but it’s magnificent.
When football is over, it’s golf season. And that takes me through the balance of the year. Baseball? A little. Basketball, nah.
And when I get my new irons made by next week, I’ll be set on ready for this season. I just wish the snow would go away...
You’re 100% wrong on that statement.
My husband is making plans with his friends to play golf on the 20th of this month. Here, but on the Cape, where it’s warmer. It seems unlikely, but I’d love it if it were possible.
New irons-that’s exciting.
I question that statement. I can’t really imagine Red Sox fans rooting for the Yankees. I don’t really follow baseball, but that seems extremely unlikely to me.
As a Red Sox fan I’d have to say that most Sox fans would not cheer for the Yanks in that situation—oh wait I found one; sir you say you would cheer for the Yankees if they were in the World Series yet you’re a Sox fan?
—Yes.
—What do you know about baseball?
—Well, there are five bases, each team gets three time
outs, and there’s a penalty shot if the score is tied at the
end of regulation. Oh, and I do wish that they wouldn’t keep score. It’s so mean to award more points to one team just because they put more pucks in the end zone... :)
Heh. :) I can’t imagine my husband rooting for the Yankees. Ever.
I play locally. So, with 20” of snow on the ground I’m stymied. But that’s winter in Illinois. I’d love to play now, but that’s just not practical.
I built clubs some years ago, and decided to get into it again. Last year was ‘the proper ball’, this year it’s my ‘clubs’. It’s a fun hobby, one that comes around occasionally so doesn’t take a lot of time overall. Golf is golf. If ya love it, you’re into it...
It’s a wonderful game. I took a few lessons, but felt overwhelmed. I have all of the equipment, so I think I’m going to try it again. I do love being out on the course.
If I could take over a radio station with just my iPod, I would get some good ratings because it is all good music and I wouldn't have to play the same songs again until weeks later.
The truth is that a week earlier Aaron Rodgers had already signed her hat. The producer of the show apologized to Aaron Rodgers, knowing the whole story before hand.
Milwaukee's WTMJ NEWS was all over this after it aired. They found out that the report was intended to make Aaron look bad.
From everything I've read and heard about Rodgers, is that you couldn't find a nicer guy on the team.
Thought you'd appreciate. GO PACK GO!
Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, and thanks again for the correction. Go Pack go! :)
