A nutter goes on a shooting spree? Blame Palin!

The left doesn't miss a single chance--To them these tragic deaths are nothing more than a vehicle to attack Palin and other conservatives.

Ever notice, how they are the “correct” people and position, *by default*? If we oppose their agenda, we are causing strife. Our speec opposing them is “vitriol”, no matter how civil we try to be. Does anyone remember Boehner opening the process in the house to include democrats? Of course not, that was last week. Does anyone remember Harry moving to end filibuster rules to remove power from the resurgent repubs? Of course not, that was last week too.

Of course, the strife and vitriol could just as easily be avoided, by them going along with the conservative agenda. After all, that is precisely the solution they offer us,, stop opposing themm so there will be peace.

This is not so much politics, as it is a bad marriage with a shrew, one who blames you for the discord that results from resisting her bullying.

I suspect that the Sheriff is terrified that he will be blamed for not providing adequate security. Though this really isn’t his fault, the idea that he is hypersensitive about it enough to want to divert blame probably means that he has some other, serious failings, that he is concerned could get him into trouble if he comes under the microscope.

“’The anger, the hatred, the bigotry that goes on in this country is getting to be outrageous.”

Is that your official position, punk? If it is what do you intend to do about it? Who is suspect #1 in your view? When may we expect you to act to protect society?

They've been trying to get some mass violence going since 2002 but now it's Palin? Just another BS artist with a badge who sees his primary job as being a referee for democrat groups rather than as a law enforcement officer.

Any dimwit knows that the problem in AZ is magnified by the bitterness the democrat thugs have spread about “repression” ever since AZ decided it would just enforce existing law. Any “law officer” that thinks that letting some select group or another flaunt the law should be removed from his job.

And then there are the guns - always, in America, the guns.

Weapons like the 9mm Glock semi-automatic handgun used in yesterday's killing spree are readily available in a state with relaxed gun control laws.

Well I knew the Leftist Gun grabbers would be out in force as soon as I read about this Assination shooting spree.

These Leftist are incapable of seeing the other side of this debate. If one of Gifford’s aids had been carring concealed the body count could have been considerably smaller.

With a complete ban on handguns Gifford would very likely be dead. Loughner could have stabbed the congressman to death with any number of weapons. Loughner could have made a bomb vest and blown up the congressman and many by standers ala sudden jihad syndrome.

If a person is willing to trade his life for the life of a politician there is little you can do to prevent him from succeeding if the killer has the wits to plan it well.

'When you look at unbalanced people, how they respond to the vitriol that comes out of certain mouths about tearing down the government,' Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik told a news conference.

I'll bet he has no evidence whatsoever to support his claim that verbal "vitriol" is responsible for attacks on govt officials.

There is a language of politics and all of these people know it. They are demagoguing about language that they engage in themselves.

Well sheriff, looks like you failed in your responsibilities to protect the citizens of your district, and now 6 people are dead....Oh, you don't like being blamed?... You couldn't have known? Why not?

You seem to have all the answers after the fact as to why this happened. If you had this insight, why didn't you have more security at this event; I mean after all with all those crazy Communist Manifesto-reading Tea Party types around and all.

Sarah Palin under fire as Arizona sheriff blames political 'vitriol' for massacre

Sarah Palin is "under fire". Doesn't that have a violent connotation?

I am so sick of these hypocritical idiots.

Sheriff Dupernick enumerated in his press conferences the many instances of danger heaped upon the person and offices of Representative Giffords. He should be asked why he did not provide even one sheriff deputy to be present at the Congresswoman's event yesterday.

Hey, Sheriff, wanna see some REAL vitriol? Swing by DEMOCRAT UNDERGROUND’S web site any day of the week.
Those morons — the philosophical progeny of Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Castro — invented hate.

Going after the speculation about the shooter's motivations is just political spin. No proof to any of it. Just political gossip in the liberal media echo-chamber. They are feeding on each other's speculation. Circuitous reporting.

The real story is the retired Army Colonel who courageously subdued the gunman with the help of another hero. True Grit and self sacrifice. He was wounded in the head as I understand it. WHERE are the articles on what these two brave men did. I suspect THEY are the Tea Party members in this event and not the crazy kid who is the Perp.

All this “Palin’s fault!” is just more proof how scared the left is.

The police chief was just political grandstanding again on Fox News. All those families, do you think they would want to hear him just doing his job?

He is a disgrace.

Sometimes I think politicians (like this Sheriff) use events just so they can have an excuse to use their dictionary word of the day. I have heard vitriol a hundred times since Saturday.
