regarding the new map for virginia. the seats most effected are dave brat’s and randy forbes’s. the va-o4 is 43 percent black. forbes should run for lt governor next year. the va-o7 is still gop leaning, but brat loses counties that helped him defeat eric cantor. brat gain gop area from forbes.
lynn westmoreland to retire. his district is absurdly gop. i doubt the dems field a candidate.
Anyone have the POTUS numbers for these districts?
Forbes should stick it to the scum and win reelection anyway. If his opponent is Black, that would help.

Trump would be an aggressive ‘hands-on’ guy with an economic crisis rather than a classic ‘limited government’ conservative. We would actually need a congress to rein him in.
I suspect he could be one of those rare ones to actually make a stimulus plan work due to his ‘pound of flesh’ formula — that would be worse than a failed stimulus. The Establishment would point to him as the gold standard for ‘picking winners and losers’ crony-nomics — very bad precedent.
And he was openly pro-Goldman Sachs, which to me is more creepy than Cruz. But that might have been before the hearings exposed Goldman-Sachs [to be fair].

We are in an oligarchy until we rein in federal judges. Without amending the Constitution, it is the Ivy League colleges which ultimately mould our future oligarchs.
I’m curious if one of our oligarchs [aka judges] is coordinating with the DNC or Governor McAwful? While republicans campaign in the wrong areas, democrats could know what places to target.
most of data regarding the new virginia can be found at daily kos election twitter feed. follow the link and you find the new maps. another option for rand forbes would be to move into the va-o2 and take on scott rigell. the va-o7 is a new district for dave brat. the new map played musical chairs with the gop areas in richmond and southeast virginia. henrico county sheriff is filing to primary dave brat.

Funny thing, I think it was Rand Paul who said that Cruz should be president of Canada. Talk about jumping the shark!
Whether intended or not, Trump flushed out birther hypocracy. Despite tons of evidence against Obama, much left unresolved, they rabidly defended him. Now they rabidly attack Cruz. And they exposed themselves far too early to help the democrats.
This is building sympathy for Cruz and a chance for him to demonstrate his campaigning skills. And he nailed it — bull’s-eye. Now this issue gets behind him early-on.

After hecklers repeatedly interrupted the GOP presidential candidate during a Thursday night rally in Vermont, Trump demanded guards kick out the protesters — and demanded that security staffers steal one of their jackets. ‘Keep his coat! Confiscate his coat! You know it’s about 10 degrees below zero outside,’ the boisterous billionaire barked from the stage. ‘You can keep his coat. Tell him we’ll send it to him in a couple of weeks.’
If he pulls this off, likely will, Trump is TEFLON.
