Down the the Yankees, oh yeah!
YES!!!! BTTT!!
How about them Rangers?!?!?
World Series party at my house..
Im glad now that NY won the last game to bring this back to Arlington.
The fans deserve to have the series win at The Ball Park in Arlington.
All the better that they got it on A-rod too!
A beautiful facility!
Hello win column. Go Rangers!
Several years ago it was the Astros who brought the WS to Texas. Now it’s the Rangers. I just hope the Rangers do better than the Astros.
Rangers Win Rangers Win. Woo HOo.
YES!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!
Congrats to the Texas Rangers. This is their first trip ever to the World Series in the 50th season this franchise has existed. The franchise was originally the Washington Senators, formed in 1961 as an expansion team to replace the original Senators franchise, which moved to Minnesota and became the Twins.
And now in their 39th season in Texas, they have won the American League pennant. Good luck to them in the World Series.
NO KIDDING!!!

Congratulations to the Rangers, the Texas Republic, and all of my relatives in Texas. Go Rangers!
and it had to be A-Rod last at at. The quarter-billionaire ex-Ranger.
Remember the Yankee’s payroll is almost 4X bigger.
Rangers have punched in their ticket to the World Series. Question: Since the NL was won the All Star Game and have the the so called “home field advantage”, plus the Texas Rangers good road record this post-season can the San Francisco Giants or the Philadelphia Phillie best the AL champs realistically?
My WS pick: Texas in 6.
or Philly/SF in 7, but the NL team most hold the Rangers runs per game to 2-3 at worst.
I know that when they beat Tampa Eric Nadel said it on the final play in honor of Mark.
YEA!!!!! RANGERS ARE GREAT!!!!
COWBOYS WHO????
Go Rangers!!
I’m happy for them. I thought the Yanks were playing Loser Ball when they issued two intentional walks in the 7th, and it backfired on them anyway.
Congratulations, guys!!! Good job!
Good Job Texas Rangers......I’m not a big fan but I am glad the Yankees were beaten.... Mike Gallagher will be elated on Monday!!
A strikeout of #13 make it extra sweet.
Hamilton gets the MVP award and all NY did was walk him.
LOL
Even Mrs. Autry commented on that — that the Yankees FEARED him.
God and Jesus Christ just uttered on TBS by the ALCS MVP!!!!!!
I’m a Braves fan but GO RANGERS!!!
I am rooting for y’all win the WS!
Like the rest of us in the Metroplex, the Rangers have made us forget about the dismal you-know-whats. Did Gallagher have a bet going with Chris Wallace on this?
Yay! Hubby and I were rooting for the Rangers!
And kudo’s to Nolan Ryan as well!!!!
YIPPEE ! ! !
RANGERS WIN!
BUSH'S FAULT!
YES!!!!
I got a bit bleary eyed during that celebration.
Now I confess, I am a lifelong Tigers fan, and it was thrilling when they beat the Yankees a few years ago....but nothing compares to this. This team has totally won me over....and it would be a damn shame if now they don’t finish the job.
Thanks much! Let us know if you find the audio of the A-Rod at bat.
I've always been interested in radio play-by-play announcers since I grew up in the pre-TV era in Pittsburgh listening to Rosey Rowswell, Jim (Possum) Woods and, of course, Bob Prince.
Ironically, Eric Nadel hails from New York City. On the other hand, some of the great New York teams baseball announcer were Southerners like Mel Allen and the unforgettable Red Barber.
Arlington will host the World Series and the Super Bowl within the span of a few months.
I’m thinking that a certain former Rangers owner - and also former President - should start practicing a first pitch...
And remember, Mr. President, in Texas we throw from the mound!
Thank you Texas Rangers! A well-deserved win - Best of luck in the World Series!!!

Hamilton walk trivia -
“On August 17, 2008, he was intentionally walked with the bases loaded against the Rays in the bottom of the ninth, with the Rays leading 73, to bring Marlon Byrd to the plate. The Rays went on to win the game 74. Hamilton thus became the sixth player in history to receive an intentional walk with the bases loaded.”

Cool nutmeg thanks for the news. :-) The evil empire goes down. Heheee....
Bush was there for Game 1, sitting with Nolan.
When they blew the lead and lost.
Yep, if only Mark Holtz was there to call that final out. When I first moved here, I spent many of a night listening to Holtz’s calls of the Rangers, even though they weren’t very good, he made it worthwhile, I was very saddened when he passed away. He was up there with the Vin Scullys and the Ernie Harwells IMHO.
As a Red Sox fan it was funny to hear the Rangers fans (and maybe some Yankees fans) chanting “Yankees Suck” tonight, and in this series, they did.
I think I can make a mint renting out some spare rooms..
Seriously though, I haven’t finished building my media room so I have been considering building a frame in front of my garage for my 110” projector screen and playing the series out side so we can have a big party.
