Ok, This needs to be said..(Message for Sarah Palin)

Governor Palin,

Please revoke your support for John McCain and back J.D. in Arizona. I say this as perhaps one of your biggest supporters in the world. Your support of senator McCain is making any Palin supporters' life just flat out miserable on the web. It is giving some sick, twisted and misguided people a tool to divide conservatives. In this case, give in just this one time. It will really put your "conservative enemies" into a corner. Please stop supporting John McCain.

And a message to the anti Palin crowd on FR..

Give her credit for conservatives that she does support like Nikki Haley. Don't focus on a narrow agenda. Please stop with the attacks. Please.

I am not a moron. I am just trying to figure out if the attacks from certain conservatives would stop if Sarah stopped supporting McCain. They attack her for supporting McCain, not just on FR. But I have been to other blogs where someone posts a message and people come and along and call her a RINO.

To 7 - It's not hurting her in the least. The majority of voters across the country, AZ excluded, aren't even aware that she endorsed McCain. 98% of those on the Right will vote for her if she's the GOP nominee.
Her popularity, across the demographics of registered Republicans, (sane)Democrats and Indies continues to climb. If she seeks the nomination no other Republican will approach near her.

There is no 'agenda'. Posters (like myself) comment on threads regarding Sarah Palin because it is a DISCUSSION thread, and everyone is entitled to comment if they so choose. I have been called a misogynist, a woman-hater, a bigot, a liar, a demented friar (not really, but it rhymes with 'liar' lol) and so have others who have refused to get their ticket punched for the Sarah Express.

The fact is, Sarah has created much of this ambivalence among her potential supporters herself with her inconsistent conservatism, on the one hand supporting SOME conservatives, while on the other hand supporting the worst of the worst RINOs there are, among them John McCain.

You can't trust a fountain like that for safe, drinkable water if you can't predict what is coming up out of the ground.

Our young friend from Ohio stated in a prior post on another day that they were 14 years old when George W. Bush was first elected to the Presidency, ergo, they are 24 years old now, or thereabouts.

Perhaps you should talk with a mental health counselor, it's not healthy to internalize something like that so very deeply. You also might seriously consider dropping politics for a couple years and pursuing other hobbies and interests, you're WAAAAAAAAAY way way overboard in your personal investment in "=>!!*S*A*R*A*H*!!<="

However, you're probably not alone, I suspect Governor Palin encounters alot of this overreaction in her many travels.

Let me get this straight, you're asking Sarah to dump her support of McCain NOT because it was the wrong thing to do, NOT because it is inconsistent with her professed beliefs, NOT because it is bad for conservatism, but because it it makes her look bad and hurts her presiential ambitions?

BTW - Sarah does what was good for Sarah, not what's necessarily good for conservatives. Hopefully those two intersect enough, but not always and some are real humdingers.
